Doing all the heavy lifting.....
Lots of big doings in Oakdale:

Parker's trial starts as Carly works to get evidence to clear him.

Margo gets a deadly package from Gray.

Katie admits she's jealous of Brad and Bonnie.

AND

Noah and Ameera are questioned by Homeland Security. Afterwards, Casey comforts a troubled Ameera. Meanwhile, Noah is disraught, but Luke puts on a brave face, even though keeping this secret is killing him.

I'm going to be gone all day tomorrow. Unless I get a break and I can slip home and watch the show. Otherwise I won't see it until late tomorrow night.

So how were the boys today?

Average. To me, today was "we have to start somewhere with the ramifications of what they've done" day and that's about the extent of it.

I only have seen the second half the show so far and Luke and Noah wasn't in it much, mostly Ameera/Casey, which I didn't mind, I like their scenes together, but I can see why Noah acted much like he did, he seemed very nervous and paranoid about getting caught. But man, he needs to calm down, soon or he's going to "give it away". He overcompensating actions and stuff, makes it obvious he is trying to hide something.

I have to watch the entire show in order to really get a strong opinion. Above was just my first impressions based off of a couple minutes worth of story.

Well I just watched the all the Luke and Noah stuff, yeah today was sort of an average day(and that's being nice). I think HS should have asked more questions. Luke and Noah's little chat was basically just the preview scene, I was a little disappointed in that. I loved all the Casey/Ameera scenes, but they had more screen time that Luke/Noah, not right.

I see Noah has some of his edge back again. I loved Luke's little "prissy" looks he kept giving (when Noah wasn't looking at him, lol) I can totally see why Noah acted like he did during today's episode though, but I think he needs to start to relax or it's going to become obvious he's hiding something.

I can't really comment much other than to say, I thought today's Nuke scenes were horrible at best. I don't know but it was just off big time, the actors did not even seem like they cared, so that tells me it was junk writing at it't best. Van and Jake normally make anything work, but they could not even make this work. Just bad writing. And why did Amerra and Casey get more airtime than Nuke, I get they are trying Amerra and Casey out, but they could have atleast given Nuke the same amount of airtime. Nuke seemed like a prop to Ameera and Casey and I did not like that feeling at all.

Yeah, today's Noah/Luke scenes were nothing to write home about. The acting wasn't great at all. And Noah didn't seem to care about Luke's feelings and that bothered me,

I can't feel sorry for Noah since this was his hair-brained idea.

And what's up with putting his arm around Ameera? I walk with my husband ALL THE TIME, and he doesn't put his arm around me. Oh wait, I forgot, the writers just like to torture Luke.

I understand that Noah is stressed, but it would be nice for him to at least show alittle concern for Luke's feelings. That's not too much to ask!!

Ah, I didn't think it was nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. No, it wasn't stellar material, but this is a story that is being changed and retooled before our very eyes. I think there are going to be some rough spots along the way. I also didn't have a problem with the Casey/Ameera scenes nor did I think that Luke and Noah were being slighted. Luke and Noah are the established couple, Casey and Ameera are the new couple. Naturally they have to have some 'getting to know you scenes' so the relationship can develop. That said, I wasn't feeling the chemistry there, not like the first time. I don't think I'd like to see Casey and Ameera getting together and I can't see them as a long term couple. Their scenes kinda bored me. Frankly, I think it's because of Billy. He's really not working in this role. He is reciting his lines and sleepwalking through the part, IMO. That said, Luke is not going to be able to put up with this much longer. Eventually, he is going to blow his top. And I agree that Noah isn't paying much attention to Luke's feelings about all this.
