OLTL rocks!

This was posted on SOC. No idea if the person is telling the truth or it's a bunch of BS, but I'm posting it here, for the sake of possible good news. I received an e-mail from my cousin this morning telling me that last night in her media/entertainment class her professor told them that through the grape vine he was told that if ATWT is canceled in 2010 that the Logo Channel may try and do a spin off on Luke and Noah. The reason why this is being brought up is because since GL has been canceled there is a great concern that ATWT could follow with in the next year or two according to her professor and according to him the Logo Channel would hate to see Nuke leave since they were the first gay male couple in Daytime history. Also the Logo Channel knows that Nuke have a very strong fan base and they want to capitalize on that but according to what she was told Logo has not approached any executive's about this yet.Their still waiting to see what will between the contract negotiations between CBS and ATWT so it could be awhile my cousin's professor has writer friends that work in the entertainment business and that's what they have heard. |

Interesting. I don't see it happening though. |

I can see Logo pitching the idea and would have great potential as a show, but I'm not entirely sure Van and Jake would want to do it. When ATWT is done, they might just want to walk away and do other things. |

I agree. When/if the show ends they'll probably just move on. As well they should. |

Yeah, while I think CBS would be stupid to just let the "Nuke franchise" die at this point, because I think it still has quite a bit of life left in. It will be Van and Jake who will be the sticking points, and I can see (and wouldn't blame them) for wanting to walk away, I probably would unless the offer made was a really good one. Hopefully, ATWT finds a home after 2010. |
