This could put me possibly in the minority, but I'm likin' Emily and Hunter's dynamic. |

Are they trying to make it obvious that Hunter is avoiding stating his last name? |

Doing all the heavy lifting.....
|
It's not often we get 'quiet' shows like today. This show is so plot heavy and rushed usually that it's nice to just have character interaction, people talking to one another and having real conversations. It's funny, but ATWT used to be like this all the time in the old days. That's what this show reminded me of, an average day where nothing big happened, but held your attention because you liked the people and cared about what was going on. Can we have more of this? I'm interested in seeing where the Snyder family go with Damian involved in their lives. Much of this revolves around Luke and his growth and development as a person and the show seems to be going somewhere with Luke caught between his two 'bloodlines'. I'm looking forward, along with Luke, finding out who he is. And I think Luke will discover he's more Grimaldi that he wants to admit or face. I also love seeing Luke interact with his family and friends. This is a core character with ties to nearly everybody in Oakdale. We should be seeing more of these scenes with he and his family and he and his friends. Yes, I like Noah, but Luke is so much more than just half of that relationship. Loved the scenes with Holden/Luke and Damian/Luke. Van has such chemistry with both Paolo and Jon and I want to see so much more of these scenes. We need to see more of this. And I'm loving Damian's eagerness at being Luke's father and how they want to get to know each other. I so want to see this relationship develop. People keep saying Noah is coming home. Emma is making all this food for Noah. Exactly where is Noah staying when he gets out? I like Hunter. He's cute and he's interesting. Clearly he has a secret and a secret past and I want to find out more. And he and KHM have chemistry. I'd love to see her put the moves on this guy. Ali and Casey work best as friends. But I'm sorry, what guy goes on and on and on about a threeway with a girl he's interested in and one he slept with? It's not funny, it's tacky. If they want to write Casey as a total horndog, I'm okay with that. But not like this with women he's supposed to care about and has had relationships with. I do like that Jade and Ali are going to be friends. Female friends are rare. I liked the calm, easy pace of today. We should have more episodes like this, not less. I think the show would be better for it if we did. |
