Welcome to Bontecou Academy
A boarding school set in the small town of Welwyn Garden City. It's a small, seemingly average boarding school in England, but Bontecou Academy is just a bit...abnormal.

Surrounded by fairly dense woods, it is isolated from the town. With beautiful gardens and plenty of other things, the castle still looks like a residence rather than a school.
Standing two stories high, the castle once belonged to a French soldier, Pierre Bontecou. Legend has it that nearly two hundred years ago Pierre disappeared. Screaming could be heard coming from the woods that night, and though a neighbor went to go look, Pierre was gone, leaving everyone to wonder if he had up and left, or died in his home.
Local rumor has it that he was taken away by angry villagers. This was quickly dismissed, as everyone knew that he wasn't the bothersome sort, always keeping to himself.
Pierre returned a week later, keeping to himself even more. He answered no questions, and everyone thought he had the look of worry on his face.

Rumors diminished, everything was quiet - until the end of the month. No one noticed it was a full moon...except Pierre.
His transformation started at the time he dreaded- midnight. He went into the most secluded part of the woods, but even then he knew no one was safe.
Pierre, his transformation already complete, roamed around the countryside, no one to guide him. He killed cattle, was shot at, but nothing could stop him. He neared the town, and as the sun cleared the horizon, he regained his natural shape.
Making up his mind, he hurried back to his home before anyone could realize where he was.
Pierre left early that morning, permanently, leaving his home to be taken care of by those who knew he had left. They cared enough about Pierre to keep his home ready for when he came back.

Pierre Bontecou never did come back, and no one to this day knows why he had left, or where he had gone to.
His castle, his home, was taken care of, and still to this day it stands proudly.
Just over a year ago the castle celebrated its hundreth birthday; it is still considered quite a piece of history.
Its mystery has died down, but its beauty remains. The town of Welwyn Garden City, decided that this grand building should not be put to waste, and so its future was argued.
Some people wanted it as a museum, others wanted a library.

However, the town was in need of a new school, and so it was decided. It was named Bontecou Academy. The castle stands even prouder than before, with young lives taking place in it's many rooms and corridors.
While it has a gloomy motif, its gothic beauty is very attractive. Things have been added on as needed, and it is a good school.
Bontecou Academy has become an odd refuge. A secret place of safety, where even the staff has no idea who, or what they are teaching.
Pierre would have been proud, seeing the generation after him. He would see the young lives, many of them going through exactly what he had been going through.
Werewolves, vampires, and humans, come join us at Pierre Bontecou's home.
But at Bontecou Academy, it's best to keep your secrets in the closet.
