Posted Image There was a time were the god walked around mortals. A time where creatures, where monsters roamed the land freely before they were ‘defeated’ and turned into nothing but myths. They were real. The monsters were real contrary to popular belief, and as time passed and civilization progressed, the gods faded from this realm, taking those whom did not belong amongst mortals.
- The branches crashed into the windows, the wind howling in it’s protest as the Earth trembled and shuddered at what was about to occur. Of course mortals had never been good at reading signs, such ignorant and arrogant creatures they were. Inside the decaying house stood a man surrounded by bones, blood, and fire. The stench of decay surrounded him, growing as he mumbled ancient words. Cursed words. And then, in a flash, before him lay three flawless, unconscious bodies. His lips tilting up in a cruel sneer, Voldemort contemplated his own brilliance. Oh if only he had known what he had brought upon the world... Then again, if he had known what chaos he would bring, he probably would have merely cackled.
To take from the gods was like Adam and Eve eating the apple, and such actions did not go without punishment. Though one man committed the crime, all would be punished. Besides, it wasn’t like mortals were doing too well with preserving themselves anyway. The gods do not tolerate the unbalance of the natural order. The last time such a thing had occurred, destruction was everywhere; oh well, it wasn’t like anyone actually liked the dinosaurs anyway. Already, as the younger gods stewed and raged at the conceit of man, the elder gods had set things in motion. Order would be returned to the universe and to nature, no matter what the cost.
The natural balance had been disturbed. The signs were there for all to see - an injustice has been done and the gods & mother nature are not happy. The earth trembled and heaved under the feet of all creatures. The wind howled nature’s pain into the hearts of all beings while the clouds stormed and raged the fury of the gods. Of course, mortals were oblivious to the chaos. What a primitive and ignorant species we are.
- Three magnificent creatures stood before him. Intelligent, flawless in their beauty, and loyal to his cause without fault. Voldemort could not have asked for any creature to be more perfect. Gorgons in human form, they would be a weapon that Dumbledore would ever see coming. He had educated them in his beliefs, molded them to be the perfect weapon against a society that was so caught up in their defective morals. Summoned from darkness, fire, and blood, Voldemort exulted in the knowledge that he had accomplished a near impossible feat. He had taken children of the gods right from under their noses and molded them to his image while they were young. His plans were all coming together. All the things he had set in motion were coming to a head. One was to go to Gryffindor, one to Ravenclaw and the last to Slytherin. The worker, the planner and the manipulator. All different in their personality aspects, and yet all loyal to only one man. One cause. Voldemort.
- In an attempt to create a temporary balance to order, the Gods chose a warrior to fight for them. Like his counterpart Perseus, a young boy was sent along with the girls to defeat the evil they will bring upon the world...
Even now, the gods seek to right the wrongs that have been made. They may not be able to interfere directly, but there were other ways to accomplish what needed to be done.[/font]
