News
LDL is baack, finally. We've fixed her up a bit and cleaned up old topics and made other changes. However, the plot still needs a little help. I thought maybe the best way to go would be to wait until you the members were able to see everything before we tweaked the plot so please feel free to post any ideas or suggestions you may have.

old news
There's a bunch of fun stuff that's about to happen plotwise. Also, go and take a look at the subplots, some of them need more characters before they can happen. [=

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

—T.S. Eliot, "The Hollow Men"

It started in a small town in southern California and washed across the face of the world, bringing entire nations to their knees. It took the lives of almost 7 billion people--and destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of others.

The Plague. Captain Trips. Call it what you will, but the fact remains: the man-made disease decimated humanity in a matter of days. We thought it was just the flu, but we were wrong.

And now here we stand--the survivors. All of our jobs and schoolwork and seminars and teaching credentials could never prepare us for what we are about to face. We can only hope that we will live to see tomorrow.

Loosely based upon Stephen King's The Stand, but welcoming of everyone.
