News
LDL is baack, finally. We've fixed her up a bit and cleaned up old topics and made other changes. However, the plot still needs a little help. I thought maybe the best way to go would be to wait until you the members were able to see everything before we tweaked the plot so please feel free to post any ideas or suggestions you may have.

old news
There's a bunch of fun stuff that's about to happen plotwise. Also, go and take a look at the subplots, some of them need more characters before they can happen. [=

”You know what I like most about Vegas? You can be anyone you want to be.”

( basic strategy )

Welcome to Las Vegas, the city where anybody is somebody, you can be whoever
you want to be in Las Vegas, you forget your worries, everything that is going on,
because let’s face it, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...Most of the time
anyway, but let’s look on the bright side. You have the large hotels, the flashing lights,
the extravagant buildings, and mainly the casino’s, oh the casino’s. You win money
you lose money, black jack, poker, and slots whatever you want it’s yours. As long
as you play by the rules, because let’s face it, Las Vegas isn’t all it’s cracked up
to be is it? Behind the mask of happy people, winning, not giving a care, just doing
it for a bit of fun there are those in depth grudges that go back years, gambling
addicts who are wasting away their family fortune. But card games are more than
just games, they’re completely and totally beatable.

That is where the counters come in.

These groups of highly intelligent students, while juggling school, and future careers
on one side of their life, fly to Vegas every weekend, accompanied by one professor
who’s willing to teach only the best, to count cards. It is a simply strategy; keep the
count and you win. Numbers are words and words are numbers, each count has one
word, one word that slips easily into a sentence to let someone else know the count,
only those who are in on it though. But don’t forget, the guards are watching you; eyes
in the sky are watching you constantly. Get caught? And well, run while you still can
babies. Las Vegas is for the emotionally detached, you don’t get involved in what you’re
doing, and you’re fine. Let your emotions over run you? Well you might as well get
on a plane and never come back again. Las Vegas is not for the weak.

But things are starting to heat up, more and more people are conning their way through,
disguising themselves, gangs and mobs are starting to cause trouble, and while innocent
students bet away and win fortune by a form of cheating, there are other things going
on as well. Las Vegas isn’t as big as it seems, and everything, every move you make
is being watched closely, slip up once? You can say goodbye to your perfect face.
People don’t care if you missing in Vegas, the police are there with the casino owners,
and the owners are only happy if you’re losing. The air is getting denser in those
casino’s, the security getting much more clued up; so you’d best watch your step.

Whether you’re working in a strip club, or dancing around the streets, going for a
holiday or just counting those cards, you’d best hope you don’t get caught.

But really, what is there to it? It’s all just BASIC STRATEGY anyway. Isn’t it?

”winner, winner, chicken dinner.” are you going to win the big bucks? Or are you too chicken?
