[size0] on and off the football field, there's no lengths that these two high schools wouldn't go. no limits that the legend of the mckinney north versus mckinney high crosstown showdown won't reach. it's not just one night of brutal athletic competition but more of decades of family rivalries, forbidden opposing school loves, and what other issues divided schools would force between the victims of the school spirit. either best friends separated by the difference of being a lion or a bulldog, to a meant to be couple that couldn't stand the constant abuse of fellow students threatening the relationship. the school's atmosphere doesn't only effect the students but also the locals of the town. the city's regulars suffer from the thick line between the commonly seen colors of orange and yellow. there's no escaping the hold that this small country town has on its victims. mckinney contains more than its fair share of drama including the family wars or the mistaken village moron. these texans aren't virgins to the fast pace parties or the intensity of the high school's power on the town. life here is a continuous game that takes ambition and skill to keep up. although they'd like to think so, none of the adults have yet to change since their glory teenage days. you've still got the bullies, the intellectuals, the loners, and the preps who have yet to live down their immature or nerdy reputations from those cruel years. there's no denying that each and every person has somewhat of a connection with the school's history. even the new comers have easily gotten attached to the nature of the town. there must be something in the water because there's no one that hasn't altered to resemble their favored school, welcome to mactown.
