Hello, Everyone!  :D

My name is Kaekilia LeoLynn and I am the founder of the Minot Area Writers Guild. I was born and raised in Minot and started writing in grade school (where I often got in trouble for writing too much). In 2010, I published my first book, Reflections..., which was followed shortly afterward by Dragon Diaries: Ascension (Part One). Currently, I am working on Dragon Diaries: Ascension (Part Two) and my latest idea, The Demon Within.

While I was writing my first book, I often found myself wishing I had someone to turn to simply to bounce ideas off of or for editing assistance. Most of my friends weren't really into writing as much as I was or just didn't seem to understand the story I was building. Not even the Creative Writing teacher at the local High School could keep up with my wild imagination.

In 2011, I started MAWG to offer assistance to my fellow writers in hopes to inspire them to keep writing. MAWG has resources and tips that will help immensely in both writing and getting published as well as advertising and book signing events. I hope the information found here will prove useful to all writers.

     Until we meet again,
May the universe inspire and protect you.
