Things to keep in mind regarding cash and FA PMs: 1. Remember we started with 20 mil, not the traditional 30. 2. I couldn't keep track of all the fines, because you dickwads had so damn many and I got anxious to sim. A lot of you probably skated on transgressions you should have been dinged for. You're welcome. That said, if there's some sort of discrepancy between your profit/loss and the 20 mil mark, you probably DID get caught with a fine (or you traded some cash) 3. If you made the playoffs, you did receive playoff revenue. So keep that in mind when calculating next year's budget, in case you miss them. Playoff revenue is never a game-changing amount or anything, but does certainly exist. 4. Sim blogs are still paying out a mil even with the lower salaries. 5. You may notice some players hitting arb way earlier than you probably think they should have. Mogul pre-loaded service times onto players. It would be an absolutely stupid amount of work to fix that. So as a compromise, you will have players under team control for longer than in the past. So while you may notice players hitting arb early, you will also notice them STAYING in arb for longer, as opposed to becoming strict free agents. I know in some players' cases they'll be hitting arb at very unrealistic times, but there's not much we can do about it, so suck it up ya babies. The biggest one here regarding cash is probably this: 6. The minimum dollar amounts for multi-year deals will be different. Previously, as you may recall, in order to offer multi-year deals you needed to halve the years to get the minimum dollar amount (ex. 1/2 was the smallest 2 year deal you could offer, 1.5/3, etc.). Before sending your PM, you may want to wait for an announcement regarding this. If you want to do it based on old parameters, fine, go for it. Now, as far as PMs go. 1. Remember YOU MUST COPY AND PASTE THE ENTIRE UFA LIST AND WRITE WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH EACH PLAYER NEXT TO IT. Do NOT remove any players, do NOT change the order of the list, do NOT omit entire sections. Just fucking copy and paste the thing. This makes it infinitely easier for me, and is probably the easiest fucking requirement you could possibly receive. That said, someone still somehow fucks it up every offseason. IF YOU SEND ME A UFA LIST THAT IS ANYTHING BESIDES THE COPIED-AND-PASTED LIST THAT I POSTED IN YOUR FORUM, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR FREE AGENTS WILL BE RELEASED. This includes free agents, arb-eligible players, and rule-av eligible players. 2. Again, the rules of rule av, for those who forget or are new to the concept. Anyone eligible for rule av has yet to hit arb and met some sort of age/(lack of) playing time requirement. You may choose to KEEP (or PROTECT, or however you want to phrase it in your PM) up to 6 of them, but only as many as 4 position players/pitchers. So for example, if you have 6 players on your list, but 5 of them are position players, you could only keep 4 of them plus the pitcher. You can release as many as you'd like. Again, I don't really care how you phrase this, so long as it's blatantly clear who is being kept and who is being cut (most people choose to use the words KEEP or CUT, imagine that). Anyone who is cut from this list will be placed in a draft pool, and anyone who shows up to the draft or makes a list beforehand will be eligible to select the players. Basically it is a tool to re-shuffle some forgotten players to clubs who may have some use for them. Any other questions or comments, please post here or ask me in pissfortress.slack.com (again, we are there daily, if you don't go there you should rectify that) |

Apologies for le delay. As far as the minimum for multi year deals, the table is as follows: 2 years - 495k 3 - 740k 4 - 985k 5 - 1.25 mil 6 - 1.5 mil 7 - 1.75 mil |

I'm half-surprised that you didn't include this full-stop in my FA PM "if you do it again I am fucking throwing you out a window" |
