Nationality: Beast
Height:6'4
Weight:255 lbs

Bio: Marcus Aries is in the fight game for one reason.. Money.. At the end of the day he wants money fights that pad his bank account. He has been in atheletics since he was a kid, but really gravitated towards amateur wrestling. He was a standout wrestling growing up and all the way through his high school career that was capped off with a state championship. During his high school years, the sudden popularity of MMA introduced him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he found that it came pretty naturally to him. Once Marcus graduated he chose to focus on Jui-Jitsu and forgoe the chance to attend college on a wrestling scholarship at the University of Michigan.. Because it is way to fucking cold in Michigan..

He competed all over the world in various Jui-Jitsu tournaments with success and caught the eye of MMA trainer Coco Rivera. Coco saw a great opportunity to take someone with the size and ground skills that Marcus had and applying it to MMA. Coco had the old school mentality to bring fighters along slowly and had Marcus fight on a amatuer level before turning pro. It got to the point that it was becoming very difficult to find someone who would step into the cage with Marcus on the amatuer level which is what led him to signing with MLC.

MMA Info:

Strengths:
- Muay Thai Clinch | Marcus loves getting the fight in the clinch and grinding out his opponent and dealing damage as he looks for the takedown. Using his knees and elbows to do damage.

- 5 Star takedown ability | Marcus has worked very hard to have a wide arsenal of takedowns that he can land from any location within the cage.

- Ground Game | Marcus is very dangerous once he gets his opponent to the ground. He looks to use his deadly ground n' pound to set up a vicious submission.

- King Of The Grind | He will look to wear you out and break your will. Using his size to impose his will from the clinch or on the ground.

Weaknesses:
- One dimensional | Marcus isnt interested in keeping the fight on the feet. He wants it on the ground where he knows he will have the advantage and can impose his will on his opponent.

- Frustration | Sure he is patient when looking for the takedown.. But he can get very frustrated if his opponent manages to keep the fight on it's feet.

- Ego | All fighters have ego but sometimes there isnt enough room in the cage for his ego and the gameplan his coaches want implenented.

- Standup | Not exactly a threat when it comes to his boxing and kickboxing ability.

Fighter Tendencies: Getting the fight to the ground & dealing damage is always the number one priority so he can use his deadly submissions or ground n' pound to end the fight. He looks to make it a long night for his opponents by grinding them out weather in the clinch or on the ground.
