Player characters go here. I'll probably add important NPCs as they come up if you want a resource of information. Use the following format for your character:
Here's a list of ranks. Remember that Titans are to be treated as two ranks higher than a Federation soldier of the same rank. The floor for MS pilots in this game is Petty Officer 1st Class.

![]() Name: Marlin Jann Gender: male Rank: Ensign Age/Date of Birth: 25 | January 0060 Place of Birth: American Midwest Appearance: 5'8" (173cm), 140 lbs. (64kg) | chestnut hair, brown eyes [1] [2] Personality: Marlin is fairly easy to get along with, though this tends to make him prone to losing focus during potentially dangerous situations. He's distrustful of spacenoids in general, and doesn't seem to believe that the Republic of Zeon or their military are fully legitimate. Goals: Marlin wants to honor his family's memory by preventing any more atrocities from being carried out. Bio: Marlin's father was a commercial pilot who also flew as a hobby, and as a boy he learned how to fly personal aircraft. In 0079, the body section of Island Iffish that broke away from the larger bay section struck southwestern Canada, and debris from the atmospheric reentry and collision destroyed his childhood home and ravaged the surrounding region in the Midwest. Marlin and his family became war refugees and traveled south through combat zones and Zeon occupied territory, and in the latter part of the war he joined the Federation military in Central America. He became a fighter pilot, and saw limited action as part of a Fly Manta squadron before the war ended, though most of his combat experience was earned taking part in mop-up operations on Earth against Zeon holdouts in Africa and Southeast Asia. Marlin passed the qualifications testing to become a mobile suit pilot in 0082, and was reassigned to the EFSF as a GM Type C pilot. During Operation Stardust, Island Ease struck the American Midwest and completely annihilated the city his family had resettled in after the One Year War, killing Marlin's parents. He had been assigned to a deep space fleet tasked with monitoring Axis at the time, and only learned about the colony drop and his family's deaths nearly two weeks after the fact. Marlin was among the first group of military personnel who applied for selection to the new Titans unit, and his persistence and personal background gained him entry by the end of 0084. He's never seen live combat against mobile suits as a mobile suit pilot outside of simulators and controlled training exercises, but his test scores and qualifications indicate that he's more than competent and should be reliable in a genuine engagement. ![]() character art by Fritz Name: Ha-yeon Mok (목하연) Gender: ♀ Rank: Petty Officer First Class Age/Date of Birth: 22 | February 11th, UC 0063 Place of Birth: Gwangju, Korea, Earth Federation Appearance: Ha-yeon stands 167cm (~5'6") with a slender, but athletic, build. She has very fair light skin, dark brown eyes, and black hair that extends just past her shoulders which she usually keeps tied in a high ponytail. She has a small nose and thin lips, and her sharp narrow eyes contrast with her otherwise gentle facial features. She is not very expressive through her face and so can be mistaken for a cold or humorless person. Personality: Ha-yeon takes her work seriously and has a certain pride in doing it welll. She usually has a serious demeanor, but by no means does she take this to extremes (ie. she isn't robotic, severe, hard-nosed, excessively straight-laced etc). She has a habit of endlessly analyzing past actions and future probabilities. She is detail-oriented and makes a point of being well-prepared, but she is prone to a workaholic habit. Although very mindful of her place among superiors and seniors, among peers Ha-yeon is more willing to show some humor or kindness. Her experiences during the One Year War make her willing to bend or break some small rules when she thinks it necessary. She is somewhat distrustful of Spacenoids from Side 3, but she has no trouble being civil in their presence. She is usually trusting of teammates and colleagues. Bio: Born into a lower middle-class family in Korea, Ha-yeon Mok's early life was one of associating with young troublemakers. Her family had her shape up by forcing her to join the EFAF JROTC program when she entered high school. Their plan worked as intended, and she was dramatically transformed into a responsible and hard-working young teen before she had finished her first year. However, the One Year War broke out during her high school years, and the Korean Peninsula fell under Zeonic occupation for most of the conflict. During this time, the line between civilian and freedom fighter was blurred, resistance to occupation was woven into everyday life: although Ha-yeon never got involved with a resistance group in any serious or formalized way, she and many others her age found themselves doing courier work or other small jobs for them from time to time. Several of Ha-yeon's friends, classmates, and acquaintances were arrested by Zeonic security forces, and not all came back. Her cousin's fate is unknown to this day. Ha-yeon completed her high school studies shortly after the war officially ended, and the EFAF honored her JROTC service. She was accepted into officer school in Turkey and, to her own surprise even, showed an aptitude for piloting mobile suits (alongside small electronics, avionics, and some other skills). She graduated 9th in her class and was one of a handful of cadets in said class to be approached by the still-new Titans. She accepted, thrilled to be invited into the Federation's elite new force. The events of the Delaz Conflict were still fresh in everybody's memory, after all, so she was convinced that the fight against Zeon was still going strong. She found out later that no higher-ranked cadets were approached, and has never quite figured out why some cadets were sought out and others were not. Ha-yeon was transferred to space for mobile suit training. She was trained primarily in GM-type mobile suits, though she has experience piloting a selection of space planes, launches, mobile pods, Zaku II-series mobile suits, and the new Hizack model. She also has some training in operating warship bridge equipment and executing some basic medical procedures (enough to assist a doctor, far from enough to replace one). She completed this training shortly before she was moved to her first field assignment with the Titans Special Inspections Team 8 "Centaur Unit". Goals: Climb ranks in the Titans, develop her practical skills, prove herself an effective team member, and cultivate a solid reputation for herself. Other: During her teen years and officer school, Ha-yeon was an amateur bantamweight boxer with a 33-4 record, winning silver in the world championships during the break between her first and second years of officer school. She still practices the sport as both a hobby and for fitness. She also has an appreciation for coffee and cocktails. Edited by Cardi, Mar 25 2018, 11:30 PM.

Name: Cody Morrow Gender: Male Rank: 1st Lieutenant Age/Date of Birth: 28 | April 12, 0057 Place of Birth: New Yark, North America Appearance: Morrow is 5'11" and has an average build. Despite being in the infantry for over a decade, he doesn't look particularly muscular or athletic, and out of his combat uniform he has been mistaken for a noncombatant on ship several times. He has a round face that seems to be in a perpetual mild frown, brown eyes, and short cut, wavy dark brown hair. Personality: Morrow is generally quiet and reserved, predominantly around those he is not familiar with, with many incorrectly assuming that his normal neutral expression is actually one of anger. Among friends and off duty, he is more talkative and open, but never the life of the party. As an officer, he tends to give his troops some leeway when out of action, so long as it does not interfere with their abilities to perform when it matters. When on a mission, he’s calm and focused, and expects his unit to be as well. Goals: Entering his fourth tour through Side 3 and expecting little action, Morrow merely wants to carry out his assignment without any complications. Bio: Born outside New Yark, Cody Morrow’s young life was generally unremarkable. Although a decent student, he was bored with school and felt little connection to home. Essentially on a whim, he enlisted in the Federal Forces as an infantryman at 17, finding himself posted to a Marine unit in Side 2. Over the next several years, he would be based at a number of different locations in Earth Sphere. By the time the One Year War broke, Morrow was a Sergeant and squad leader assigned to a battalion based at Luna II, where he spent most of the war. His battalion was selected as an assault unit during the Federation space offensive during the final month of the war. At the battle of Solomon, his unit was part of the first wave of ground troops to hit the space fortress, just moments behind the lead Federation mobile suit units, ultimately suffering almost 30% casualties. Morrow acquitted himself well, leading his platoon after the commanding officer was killed, and helping clear the stubborn defenses inside the asteroid. Following the battle, he was given a battlefield commission to 2nd Lieutenant and command of a rifle platoon. His understrength battalion was then assigned to the attack on A Baoa Qu following the Solar Ray attack on the main Federation fleet. Once again, Morrow’s unit was part of the initial wave of ground troops, but nearly a third of his unit was lost before making it to the surface. Again, Morrow and his Marines performed well in combat, but out of a platoon of 52, only 11 survived the battle. After the war, Morrow’s promotion was made permanent and his unit was selected for occupation duty in Side 3, where they were based until the summer of 0081. He would be assigned to several units over the following two years, including a second tour in Side 3 in early 0083 as part of the EFSF inspection unit, but was on a rotation at Luna II during Operation Stardust. He would serve another uneventful tour in Side 3 with a regular Federal Forces inspection team during the first half of 0084, after which he was approached by the Titans, who were attempting to bolster their understrength Marine elements. Cody accepted the offer, which came with a promotion to 1st Lieutenant. In the summer of 0085, Morrow was assigned as a platoon commander in the 63rd Titan Marine Battalion, added as an officer with experience both in combat and inspection duty in Side 3, shortly before the 63rd was attached to Titan Special Inspection Team 8. |

NPC OFFICER![]() Name: Christus Keiron Gender: male Rank: Lieutenant Commander Age/Date of Birth: 32 | January 0053 Place of Birth: Le Havre, France, Earth Federation Appearance: 6'0" (181cm), 165 lbs (75kg) | black hair, dark brown eyes | He keeps his hair and moustache neatly groomed according to regulation. His resting facial expression gives off an air of dissatisfaction. Personality: Captain Keiron has what the military calls "command presence" - he's not particularly tall or loud, but he's able to take control of a situation with little effort and his words carry weight. Keiron is a stickler for keeping business and pleasure separate. Unfortunately for some, upon first meeting him he seems to be all business. Goals: Keiron has little to no interest in politics, and as such he's out to see his mission completed and little else. He has a fiancée who is currently living back on Earth, and they plan to marry after the Centaur Unit rotates out of Side 3. Bio: Born and raised in a coastal city on Earth, Christus comes from a long line of fishermen. After graduating from university, he caused some consternation among his family by joining the EFSF rather than the Federation's Navy in 0075. He was captain of a Salamis during the war, but his ship was heavily damaged at A Baoa Qu and had to be scuttled after the battle after engaging mobile suit forces launched from Zeon's Dolos super carrier. After the war Christus remained with the EFSF and received a promotion and a new command based out of Side 1. He was invited to join the Titans based on his record and his personality profile in 0083, and was promoted to Lieutenant Commander before being made captain of an experimental Magellan-class refit, the Themis. His experience as a colonial garrison officer was considered one of the top reasons for putting him in command of the new Centaur Unit. |

Name: Kurt Montone (nicknamed "Black Mask") Gender: Male Rank: Lieutenant Age/Date of Birth: 44 | July 10, UC 0041 Place of Birth: Wichita, Kansas, United States of America Appearance: The first thing about Kurt that catches your eye is the half-mask he constantly wears. It’s smooth, polished, colored obsidian and contoured to perfectly fit the left side of his face. He can see and speak perfectly while wearing it. The reason for this half-mask is public record - “severe facial disfigurement via combat injury” - but no one save Kurt and the doctors attending to his occasional physicals know what gruesomeness lies underneath. Kurt stands 6’4” (193 cm) with a stocky build. He’s fair skinned, has short brown hair with tinges of gray, a well-groomed half-beard and complimenting sideburns, icy blue eyes, and a triangular face. Personality: Kurt stands alone. He shows no desire to form meaningful bonds of camaraderie or friendship with his colleagues. On and off-duty, he casts an imposing, unreachable presence. But in spite of this, he’s displayed sufficient command ability to be trusted with leading teams of mobile suits into the field. His style of command can be summed up best as “you do what I tell you, when I tell you and without question”. Bio: The Montone family has had a deep connection to the “Grain Belt” of the Midwestern United States for generations, from working its lands to establishing a successful business concern managing those lands and the crops they yield. In modern times, the name “Montone” has become synonymous with Earth elitism to some. From youth, Kurt was taught the importance of his family’s stewardship of the Grain Belt and was groomed to one day take the reins of the Montone legacy after completing his education. But instead, Kurt looked to the skies for his life path. The day after he graduated high school, he announced to the family his intent to pursue a commercial pilot’s license and see the stars. While he hoped his parents would support him, Kurt was prepared to forge ahead with or without their help. In the end, Kurt stood alone. After graduating college with a master’s in engineering and completing a turn at an aeronautics university, Kurt acquired his pilot’s license and began a storied ten-year career sitting at the helm of a variety of ships: from commercial freighters to corporate shuttles; from passenger liners to waste disposal vessels. That career came to an abrupt end with the outbreak of the One Year War. With civilian space travel no longer as safe as it used to be, Kurt threw in his lot with the Earth Federation and volunteered for Air Force service. In spite of his “advanced” age compared to typical volunteers, he was accepted for two reasons: his family name and his indomitability. He completed the necessary training and flew a variety of craft while having several run-ins with Zeon’s mobile suits. When the Federation began introducing their own mechs in early November, Kurt immediately volunteered for cross-training. Despite the issue of his age nearly stonewalling him a second time, he forged on ahead and proved his mettle against the instructors and fellow trainees. It was during this time of transition that Kurt's motivation for military service and stubborn refusal to yield to his age came to the fold: the emotionally traumatizing sight of watching Island Iffish fall onto the Earth, hearing day after day tales of post-British environmental and societal devastation. All that tragedy and death in the name of “Spacenoid Independence”. After completing his cross-training, Kurt was issued a production model GM and shifted to the garrison at Luna II for zero-G training. The rest of his service record consists of hit-and-fade missions, convoy escorts and participation at the Battles of Solomon and A Baoa Qu. By the end of the war, Kurt had risen to CO of his own mech squad and earned several commendations for bravery from his superiors. Following the signing of the Granada Peace Accords, Kurt planned to leave the military and return to piloting commercial spacecraft for decent paychecks. But the Federal Forces made him a better offer: a comfy position at the Federal Military Academy in Nijmegen as a mech pilot instructor with a steady paycheck. He remained in that position for two years before getting restless again and transferring to a space-based billet at Konpei Island. Kurt was still at Konpei when the Delaz Fleet unleashed Operation Stardust. He was thankfully not caught at Ground Zero when Gato fired the nuke, but he was part of the pursuit fleet that was intercepted by the Neue Ziel. Kurt’s mothership was destroyed, his squad was wiped out and his GM Type C was left damaged beyond repair. Although rescued, an overload in his cockpit left Kurt with the facial injuries now concealed by his half-mask. As he recovered in a Federal Forces military hospital, Kurt learned that Island Ease had landed on target. The Grain Belt was left in ruins, most of his family was dead and those who lived were left to pick up the pieces. Part of Kurt wanted to finally leave the military and return to his estranged blood, but overwhelming grief and a desire for vengeance drove him into the arms of the Titans. Goals: Ensuring that he does his part in keeping the spacenoids at the bottom of society’s food chain. Edited by ZGMF-X28A Nu-Liberty, Mar 21 2018, 06:28 PM.

A proud earthnoid with something to prove. Name: Richard “Dick” North Gender: Male Rank: Lieutenant Junior Grade Age/Date of Birth: 27 | January 0057 Place of Birth:South Africa Appearance: An unassuming bald guy with pale skin, blue eyes and a smooth shaved head. He probably stands around 5’9 and weighs around 140lbs. He is of a slim athletic build like most people in the military. He has close set eyes and a thin long nose. He smells like drakkar noir all the time. Personality:Richard is a charismatic sociopath. He lacks any kind of empathy for spacenoids. He will come off as charming around others, but he only acts this way because it makes his life easier. Goals:Quite motivated to prove himself as a real pilot. Rumours have been spreading that he is incompetent as a mobile suit pilot. Bio: Richard or “Tricky Dick” comes from a well off prominent earthnoid family. The youngest of his family and quite possibly an illegitimate son he was sent to outer space to serve with the Jupiter Energy Fleet as a civilian operator. While spending much of his childhood and adult life in outer space has allowed Richard to accumulate his senses to space much like a spacenoid. He was able to complete his university degree and majored in social work while minoring in art. At the time of the OYW he was flying a saberfish as an escort unit for the Jupiter Energy Fleet. After the One year war, he returned to earth and was offered a position as a civilian pilot doing sick tricks in Saberfish all around the world as a recruitment tool for the EFSF. His high upbringing and excellent education allowed him to flourish in this role and he soon found himself performing in mobile suits aswell. The titans didn’t take long to conscript his unit after their inception. Originally planning to use them as a way to bolster support they fund it more cost effective to shuttle the whole program and redistribute the members. They found Richard’s civilian education and lengthy time spent in space he would be useful as a member of the centaur unit. |

Name: Charles Zahl Gender: Male Rank: Petty Officer 1st Class Age/Date of Birth: 21/December 14, UC0064 Place of Birth: Colony 30, Side 1 Appearance: A large, imposing man, Charlie stands at 6’6” and a solid 250#. His features are blunt and not at all helped by the perpetual scowl on his face. He has green eyes, though it is somewhat hard to tell since he is almost always squinting. His hair is naturally purple though he commonly dyes it (poorly) to hide that fact. Personality:They say there is no zealot as fanatical as a convert and that is certainly true in the case of Charlie Zahl. Having had the misfortune of being born a Spacenoid, he does everything he can to prove that he is not really one of them. This makes him exceptionally driven when around Earthers and hateful and cruel toward Spacenoids and their sympathizers. He very rarely smiles and usually, when he does, it is out of a sense of satisfaction at accomplishing some task to prove himself worthy or at the failure of one of his enemies. Goals:Charlie’s primary goal is to prove himself to his superiors and to everyone else, for that matter. His secondary goal is to make every Spacenoid show the proper respect for their home planet and its natives. Bio: Charlie’s ancestors were a poor family from Louisiana who scraped together just enough money to be one of the first settlers on Side 1’s Colony 30. They immediately regretted the decision. Having bought into the idea that it was a Utopia for people to start over and that it was a place where hard work could create a better life for themselves and their children, they found that it was just another place where the haves continued to have and the have nots continued to toil for the advancement of those with more. It didn’t help any that approximately half the Zahls were either lazy or cunning, doing the minimum necessary to get by or trying to outsmart the system without much success. The One Year War proved to be an out for at least part of the family. Charlie’s father volunteered for the Earth forces as early as possible and served with distinction, though in the supply division and not in any kind of combat role. He did well enough to buy himself and his family a ticket to earth, though and they moved back to Louisiana. Generations of working in poorly radiation shielded locations had caused various levels of genetic mutation in the Zahls and Charlie was born with a relatively minor version, purple hair. This difference was enough to get him picked on at school, though and he did all he could to prove he wasn’t really a Spacenoid, since he blamed his purple hair for the failure of his new life to be a new Utopia. He joined the military as soon as he could and his size and obsessive drive made him a stellar recruit. In fact, the only issues on his record are that he is a little too zealous and vicious when dealing with Spacenoids. A hindrance that the Titans consider an edge. |

Name: Joseph Steiner Gender: Male Rank: Ensign Age/Date of Birth: 27/Jan 10, 0058 Place of Birth: Granada City, Moon Appearance: 6’3, 210lbs Joseph is a tall average build body who constantly has bad posture, blonde haired in a messy medium fade/combover, dark green eyes that always look happy, gaunt like face Personality: Joseph happy go lucky kind of guy, who goes with the flow preferring to follow then lead. He has his flaws like his alcoholic tendencies, and smoking. Consider one of the most friendliest guys of any unit he is in. But unwittingly says things without thinking that tend to get him in trouble. Is actually somewhat sympathetic to his fellow spacenoids, but to him its nothing personal business is business and Joseph will do his job. Tends to go along with what his superiors say even if he knows its wrong. Not ashamed of his heritage. Goals: Live long enough to retire in a quiet place Bio: The second youngest out of six, he grew up in a Pro-Zeon household, his father at the time before the OYW was a cargo hauler who taught him how to handle a craft. When the war broke out his father left with two of his brothers and sister to join the Principality of Zeon he at the time he considered joining his father and other siblings but with the outcome of The One Week Battle with the colony gassing and subsequent colony drop he left to join the Earth Federation. In EFSF he started as part of a Salamis-class gunnery crew. He later passed flight school to become a pilot of a Saberfish after an incentive and pay raise was offered for the shortage of pilots. He was disowned by his family for the side he chose. He has seen little action in the early days of the OYW participating in minor space skirmishes across a few areas of space. As rumors progressed about the Federation producing their own mobile suits the war seemed to favor the Federation forcing the EFSF to become more aggressive. He was aboard the Magellan-class “The Maverick” when they were ambushed by 2 Musai and its mobile suit he was lucky to make it to a escape pod. Joseph was reassigned to a new unit who was in the middle of becoming a MS squadron. He was trained and assigned a RGM-79 GM. His last act in the OYW was in the Battle of Solomon where he was in the initial first wave where his suit was shot down and he was wounded for the remainder of the war. After the war he found out his father Johan died in The Battle of Jaburo, one of his elder brothers Marx was gravely wounded at Solomon and resides on side 3, another of his older brothers Jashin left with his sister Elena to Axis, while his younger brother Joshua died in The Battle of Abaoa Qu, his eldest sister Emma was working as engineer in Zeonic and then AE. He attempted to reach out to his mother but she wants nothing to do with him Joseph returned to service in February of 0080 where he was stationed at Luna II where he was demoted back to ensign. He would later be stationed in and around Von Bruan during 0081-0083. He watched on the news Delaz speech and then the attack on Konpeitoh by the Delaz fleet as operation Stardust in 0083. He watched the formation of the Titans but was reassigned to Luna, it was in March of 0084 when he was approached to join the Titans as a MS pilot which he accepted. ![]() character art by Fritz Name: Jint Lee Beeso Gender: ♂ Rank: Lieutenant Age/Date of Birth: 30 | September 21st, UC 0055 Place of Birth: Windhoek, Namibia, Earth Federation Appearance: Jint stands 182cm (~5'11.5") with an average build. His skin has a bronze complexion with warm undertones. He has hazel eyes and platinum-blond, medium-length hair. His square-jawed face is usually set at either an expression of disapproval or a poker face. Personality: Jint is notorious for verbally cutting down and abusing subordinates and establishing dominance. He believes strongly that there is a natural order to the world and that those who stray must be shown their place as swiftly and harshly as possible. He does not tolerate subordinates questioning him and asserts what authority he has with an iron boot. He believes the colonies (and by extension Spacenoids) must accept their natural subservience to the Earth's needs. Jint also believes military rule would fix the EF's problems. Bio: Born into a prosperous family with a long history of both military and civil service, Jint Lee Beeso was raised to believe in a firm Earth-centric worldview. His father is a member of the Federation Assembly, for a hardline party that promotes militarist and Earth-centric policies. Following in the footsteps of many of his family members, he entered a military school to earn an officer's commission. He became the first in his family to join the EFSF rather than one of the Earthside branches. From 0074, Jint was a junior officer at Luna II. He remained on the asteroid base through the One Year War, essentially working a pencil-pushing desk job with mixed feelings. On one hand, yes, he was frustrated that he was out of the action doing inglorious paperwork, but on the other hand he was slowly but surely getting his foot in the door with powerful people in the military brass. The war ended, and after repeated requests Jint was retrained to work as a helmsman aboard a Magellan-class battleship based out of Konpei Island in early UC 0081. As the son of an Earth-centrist Assemblyman, Jint got the attention of members of the Jamitov officers' clique, which afforded him privileges and connections. He had the opportunity to meet Jamitov Hymem once in person, and though the meeting was brief Jint was immediately impressed by the man and saw in him a natural leader. The ship he served on saw action during the Delaz Conflict and survived. Jint's in with the Jamitov clique meant that he was invited into the newly-formed Titans early on, and his rank rose to Lieutenant in short order. He was assigned to the Magellan-class refit Themis to serve as Lieutenant Commander Christus Keiron's executive officer. Goals: Get the attentions of Bask Om and Jamitov Hymem, rise to prominence within the Titans Other: Jint Lee Beeso is fluent in German, French, and Afrikaans and proficient in Mandarin, Arabic, and Russian. He can imitate a Zeon accent surprisingly well. Edited by Cardi, Apr 5 2018, 09:01 PM.
