My mom has been working for Disney for over 10 years working hard for the company and today thy just let her off. And she had a fairly important job too. Just freaking crazy. Yeah I know a bunch of people have gone through the same thing and are less fortunate but I just think the whole idea is crazy. At least it is not the end of the world since she can get another job and we still have an income that can cover us for a while.

Why is it most employee's are required to leave a two week notice, yet employers can just say 'pack your things' and toss you out the door?
