You will cast all your votes for Tribal Council in this thread. You may change your vote until the moment all votes have been submitted. Failure to vote will result in a snakebite and a random vote. Should you change your vote, do so in a new post. You may place a conditional vote, but if all other votes are submitted, your conditional vote will become your permanent vote. Please be sure all your votes include a voting confessional! |

Vote: Aronis Sorry, but you and I just haven't connected enough. I've got connections with everyone else on the tribe that are stronger than what I have with you, so you have to go. |

![]() Lara: We did have an alliance on the original Coronado, and coming into the new tribe I thought you and Jason would be the two players I would be most likely to work with. But Malkon and Bella have talked to me a lot more over the past few days than you have. I trusted you and I still don't feel good about voting you out, but I don't like how you basically turned on the rest of our original Coronado alliance by throwing Shadow under the bus for her connection with bella, and throwing hiplop under the bus to bpc. Sorry, but I feel that this is the best decision for me. |

![]() As you wish. Seriously, dude, no hard feelings outside of the game for any decisions made during the game. It's a game; lying, backstabbing, and deception is a part of it and I don't blame you for one second for anything you did. I'm honored to have made such a good friend so quickly. |

![]() Blame Bella/Shadow for this vote, not me. They're the ones who decided not to get on board with voting out one of the biggest threats in the game. |

![]() Because you turned at least one vote against me, and I've doubted that you've been 100% honest with me since Day 1. If my vote isn't going to matter for strategic purposes, I'll vote here for the person I'd least like to see win the game (among those I'm able to vote for). |

hahahaha I forgot I even voted Shadow for that reasoning at the end If you had told me on August 9th I would even be considering voting Shadow at FTC (especially over Kelly, who is the player I'd have most wanted to see winning the game at that point, due to the fact that he would have successfully overcome the three big bad partnerships), I'd have called you crazy. And even when FTC started, though I wasn't quite as solidly in Kelly's favor (at least partially due to the fact that I perceived Kelly as being boring in dominating the latter stages of the game), I still didn't think Shadow had a chance of getting my vote unless something drastic happened at TC. And... well, it did, thanks to Kelly's comments about Jason's fake idol. I don't believe Jason would have lied to me and told Dan about it. I don't believe Dan could have randomly guessed that on his own. And I don't believe that Kelly didn't lie to me there... just trying to get my vote? What's his motivation? And then we have Shadow, who backstabbed me during the game pretty much every opportunity she had a chance to. But... she owned up to it. She didn't have to confess that she was the one who cast the stray vote against Bernkastel at the Drench elimination... but she did. She didn't have to clarify that she wasn't the dominant force that I thought she was in her partnership with Bella... but she did. I said in my confessional that I wouldn't change my vote in this thread a dozen times. And I won't... but rest assured that I've changed my vote in my head at least a dozen times leading up to this point. Shadow, Kelly, Shadow, Kelly... ughhhhhhhhhhhh. My feelings on August 9th or even August 29th mean nothing. What matters is how I feel now. Who played the better game? Kelly. He survived the first part of the merge where no other single player could. He dominated the challenges in the latter part of the game where he absolutely had to or he'd be gone. If I was watching this season on television as a neutral observer, I'd vote for Kelly to win in a heartbeat and probably rage against anyone who voted Shadow here. Who had the better FTC? Shadow, easily. It's not even about "eloquence" or lack thereof as Kelly claims, it's about who owned their game better. And Shadow did that, considerably better. Plus she didn't lie at a point where she had no reason to. If I was voting purely on who worked harder to get my FTC vote, Shadow would win in a landslide and I wouldn't understand why anyone in my situation would vote Kelly. But I can't vote for both of them. I have to pick one. Kelly's dominant challenge game or Shadow's dominant social game. Shadow's lies during the game or Kelly's lies after the game. Kelly's ruthless efficiency or Shadow's deadly charm. So who am I going to vote? ... My vote for Sole Survivor of Survivor: Magic Kingdom: ... ... ... ![]() This game isn't played in a vacuum. I understand that now more than ever. Emotions matter. Campaining and politicking for votes at FTC matters. Shadow realizes that, Kelly doesn't. I understand now how certain winners of the TV show managed to win the game despite me (as a neutral observer) thinking they had absolutely no business doing so. I'm not sure that either player would be satisfied with my justification of the vote if it had gone against them, but it doesn't matter. My vote is my vote. And Shadow, you earned it. Barely. Don't call it a comeback... actually, do call it a comeback. And it was a hell of a comeback, indeed. |
