Welcome to Tribal Council, Orleans. Behind each of you is a torch. Grab one, dip it into the flame and get fire.

This part of the ritual of Tribal Council because in this game, fire represents your life. Once your fire is gone, so are you.

Here's how Tribal Council works. Below are some Tribal Council questions. You must answer at least 3 of these in this thread. They must be substantial answers; no one-word answers. Full sentences please. You may answer any others in your confessional, we'd love to hear your thoughts.

You have until 24 hours from this post to not only answer your questions, but to cast a vote in your Voting Thread. Please be sure to include a voting confessional with it.

- How is the three tribe setup affecting the game? Were you expecting this setup or did you anticipate 2 tribes instead?
- How does challenge performance affect tonight’s vote? Is it ever a consideration for you?
- When considering potential votes, do you think at all about the fact that they have a partner on another tribe? How much does that influence deciding to write someone’s name down?
- What is the most important thing you think this tribe needs to improve on, moving forward?
- Why are you voting for the person you’re voting for tonight?
- Do you expect the player voted out tonight to truly leave the game, or do you expect some sort of return?
- Idols. Are they being discussed at all? Any luck finding any clues?
It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

If you wish to cast a more personalized vote, you may edit the image below to serve as your vote.

If not, I'll simple write the name you write on the parchment.

I kinda prefer 3 tribe setups tbh. Evens out challenge responsibilities a bit. When there's just 2 and they're much bigger, odds of a handful of people being the only ones carrying the tribe in challenges are much more likely. Smaller tribes mean more is expected of each tribe member, and they matter more. I actually thought it would be 2 tribes, so this was a nice surprise!

WELL NOW IM EXPECTING IT! I was expecting that they might just be voted out of the game, but now you're making me think Gosh-darn-tootin' it. Why do you do this to me?! :(

Oh, cause I don't need to lie to you
You'll never break my heart
Yeah, you'll find the truth here in my arms
So can you tell me why do we care about the rumors, baby?

- How is the three tribe setup affecting the game? Were you expecting this setup or did you anticipate 2 tribes instead? I anticipated two tribes because that's the way the real show did Blood vs Water*. With the ability to talk to our partners at all times, though, I think it makes sense. All of us can get second-hand info about one tribe from a person we trust. But that third tribe? Any info about people over there is a little less reliable. And that's strategically interesting.

- How does challenge performance affect tonight’s vote? Is it ever a consideration for you? I've long held the stance that results on one individual challenge don't mean much in the long run due to the breadth of skills that will be involved in this game. But even if it was a consideration, we all didn't do that great.

- Idols. Are they being discussed at all? Any luck finding any clues? Nobody is discussing them with me, and I'm making a conscious decision not to look for clues after the Loose fecal mattershow that was the Koch forums in #2016.

*Disclaimer: I only saw the second BvW.

(i like a good three tribe setup just from a design point of view and i think it's more intimate being so few! makes it easier to bond as a tribe, for sure.)

it's actually in the first amendment that you need to give me an idol right now thanks. because they're not being discussed and we need freedom of speech in the united states

Tribe set ups:

I much prefer the three tribes set up: anything else feels too big or two small: I think I'm conditioned now to talk to 5 or 7 people. Knowing that partners are only one on is harder, as if you do hear anything it's basically fourth hand at this point.

Challenge performance: we did fairly badly all round. I mean I told people id hunt them down If I was the boot after that horrible puzzle, but otherwise no. The guessing was hard, especially around things like counting.

Idols: I never find them. Maybe some really experienced forum players have been good at hunting but it just isn't my jam. It hasn't really been discussed.

- When considering potential votes, do you think at all about the fact that they have a partner on another tribe? How much does that influence deciding to write someone’s name down? Well right now everyone has a partner so it's not really much of a factor in my decision but I think later in that's definitely something you start to think about. - Idols. Are they being discussed at all? Any luck finding any clues? Eh I haven't really thought about them much I don't think they've been discussed to seriously just early enough no one's really wor worried about them yet. How does challenge performance affect tonight’s vote? Is it ever a consideration for you? I don't think it really will I mean let's be honest we were all complete Loose fecal matter in the challenge so not really likes there's anyone we can say was the reason we lost. Maybe if we keep losing challenges but not worried about it at this stage plus it's hard to pin point our problem in the challenge when it's an effort as bad as the one we had

I have not thought about that at all, I barely know anyone here from outside of this game so hearing about their partners doesn't affect how I think about the vote.
What is the most important thing you think this tribe needs to improve on, moving forward?
Winning challenges obviously lol
Idols. Are they being discussed at all? Any luck finding any clues?
I think it is too early for idols, haven't seen anything. I doubt there is even idol clues out yet.

If anybody has a Hidden Immunity Idol and you'd like to play it, now would be the time to do so.
It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

Okay.

Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.
