Sorry to hear about the license, but on a much brighter note - I'm glad some normality is returning for you, Del.
We missed you around here.
Best wishes to you both.

A quick update for you after yesterdays hospital visit. Derek's memory isn't good and he failed a few memory tests and now we are waiting for an appointment for an EEG and consultation with a neurologist. He's OK in conversation and can remember back to his early days on the buses but nothing prior to Friday week and the yesterday is very sketchy.

Thanks for the kind comments and he talks about you all as friends and tells me that he is OK on the Forum.

Mark there is no way that I would let him drive so no worries there.

Update

I saw a Neurologist yesterday and is concerned that I still have these brain freezes and a wobbly head and also unable to walk a straight line sometimes. He has now ruled out TGA or TIA and after examining me he has mentioned a mini stroke and is booking both an EEG & a MRI scan meantime I am now on blood thinning pills and aspirin. He listened to my Carotid veins and they are making funny noises and different each side so may need a widening op. One thing that has come from this is that I no longer feel a fraud.

Thanks for all the good wishes, Judy reckons you are a great bunch of people.

Add to all that my Optician has/is trying to get a cataract op for both my eyes, great fun.

Cheers guys.

The Doc I saw wore a black 3/4 inch with a thin white stripe and a waistcoat. His shirt was bright Tangerine orange with a white collar and cuffs held together with Batman cuff-links. His tie was black with musical notes/staves all over in white. Bright to say the least and he did a lot of talking to himself or behind his hand. Oh and a lopsided and uneven thick moustache. Must be single as no wife in her right mind would let him out like that.

I get that sometimes, but I believe my condition is known as "drunk"

Anyway, glad to hear you're getting sorted!
