I am expanding the range of JPG Production resin models that I stock on the store and take to the odd show. One of the new kits is a Bespin (Cloud City) base for Bandai's box scale Millennium Falcon. The falcon is about 1:350 and fits very snuggly into your palm!

The challenge is to what level can I light the falcon having already built one of these up with the engines and front lights lit.

The intention is to display the Falcon just about to land on the base so I thought I would see just how much lighting I can get on it.

Anyhow after a few minutes of playing with a 1.0mm and 0.5mm drill bit I have this to show!

I also have some 3D printed bits from Shapeways for the landing gear, cockpit interior and new cover and new dish.

The Bespin base looks like this.

Thanks for looking

Managed to throw a bit of paint at the itty bitty Falcon at the weekend without melting!

Now for a bit of weathering before adding the lights.

These are some of the 3D printed bits I got from Shapeways.

The set also includes that landing gear and windows for the turrets!

Even though they are small I still managed to break off one of the rear seats in the cockpit!!
