Some of you may have noticed that all of my pictures have disappeared, including my logo at the bottom of my posts. It seems Photobucket have narrowed their bandwidth and no longer support 3rd party hosting without upgrading your account! Having done a bit of digging around, it seems that this "upgrade" costs $399 a year!!! So, I will be looking at transferring everything over to Flickr or some-such, if I can figure out how to share from there. This could take some time!! |

Had read a headline on another forum about this, but didn't pay any attention. Now mine are all gone! Gonna take me a while to swap over. Not a nice thing to do with no prior warning. |

I have two accounts, one free where my pictures and the s cond one "ad free" which costs about £12 a year and that's working fine, I'd go on photibucket price plans and check out the options. Still a pain in the proverbial though. |

Tinypics is a darn sight easier than Flickr for getting the photo code for Forums so recommend it 100%. |

Transfer to Flickr that's what I did and never looked back as it seems to be a lot more stable than Photobucket. |

I have two Flickr accounts that I hardly use, because I can't figure out how to post from them. |

Yep, just sorted out an account, downloaded a picture and can't find anywhere to copy an [img] code from. Edited by Johni044, Jun 30 2017, 10:43 AM.

John, it took me an age to work it out too mate. 1. Click on the picture you want to post. 2. It will appear on your screen, and there will be 5 wee icons bottom right. 3. Click on the middle one, its an arrow pointing to the right. 4. This opens another box that gives you the image code and allows you to resize if needed. 5. Left click on the link and it all turns blue, right click copy and then paste where ever you want it to go. 6. The only bit of the link you need is in the second set of [ ] (square brackets) every thing else can be deleted, as this will appear on your page as writing left and right of the picture. Hope this helps you some way |

I have the $2.99 pb account and all my photo`s look fine. Saying that, going to open an account with http://village.photos/ as I`ve heard it`s quite good. Nice to have a back up as well. Edited by tc2324, Jun 30 2017, 03:17 PM.

Copied from another forum: According to PB's own Plus Subscription Pricing & Info page they have five account types: 2 GB - Free Ad Free (no additional storage or bandwidth) - $2.49 / Month 50 GB - $59.99 / Year 100 GB - $99.99 / Year 500 GB - $399.99 / Year Only the Plus 500 would help in this respect: Plus 50 offers 52GB of Storage and No Linking or 3rd Party Hosting Plus 100 offers 102GB of Storage, Unlimited Linking and No 3rd Party Hosting Plus 500 offers 502GB of Storage, Unlimited Linking and Unlimited 3rd Party Hosting Plus Ad Free accounts will probably be the next category they will shut down, after all free accounts violating the newly imposed rules are closed.
