As requested a very quick look at the contents of the Bandai Perfect Grade 1/72 Millennium Falcon kit.

The box is big! Approx 60 x 40 x 20cm

On opening it up the inside space is full.

There are over 30 sprues in the box along with a PE fret, masks, decals, lighting set and a thick instruction book.

In typical Bandai style it is a press fix kit. A few of the sprues.

One nice touch is that the delicate parts are in a separate box on 5 sprues.

Its not a cheap kit but from my initial look through it's just about on the button with the original Episode IV Falcon.

Figures for Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan and C-3PO....but no R2-D2. That's it! I refuse to buy one!!! :rolf

And I bet it can't do the Kessel run in 12 Parsecs :jedi:

Seriously though, it looks a great (big) kit!! :empire

That looks well lush. I think I need to finish my Revell/Fine Molds Falcon before having a think about it again.

Are these cockpit parts "gold plated" or are they coloured plastic?

They are black plastic, the gold effect is from the lighting and phone camera.

I thought they were gold also and never seen black look like that under flash.

Probably because I didn't use flash on those pictures and I used my phone to add to the equation!
