Having taken me nearly 4 months it's finally finished. I did enjoy the build at the start but with my problem I'm finding that modelling is taking so much from me and takes so much time I lost interest so rushed the last bits, sorry but not one I'm proud of.

It's the 1/48th Great Wall kit with Authentic Decals otherwise OOB except for Master Anti-static wicks, pitot and a couple of other bits that I've forgotten. Brush painted with AKAN Acrylics. Decals are designed for the Academy kit consequently I had big problems getting things to match so had to buy a second set, my fault as should have read instructions before buying so another unnecessary expense.

I am aware that the port outer missile has dropped partially from it's pylon but now corrected and I couldn't be bothered to redo the piccies.

Thanks Paddy, they say that the camera never lies........................................but! :whistle

Some/most of the tiny PE sensors and vanes fed the carpet monster and where I did manage to get them on there should be 2 but there is only 1, the PE Hud has no glass and so on.

It looks great to me Del. I get bored with most of my longer builds, so I usually end up putting them to one side for a while and coming back to them at a later time.

Is the digi-cam painted, or is that the decals you were on about?

Thanks Paul.

I could lie and say it's clever masking and paint :whistle but no, they are Authentic Decals applied over the base grey with some adjustment by me over the fuselage hump and around the cockpit, a sod to do but I think I cracked it with the second set.

I've tried putting to one side over the years but finish up binning them so I have to finish. Patience is not a virtue to me now.

There's a tiny one at the front of each of the engines :whistle It's just that on proper aircraft they're called compressors. :rolf

Thanks for the comments though Tony.
