Hi guys,
Well I have had a week away from the bench, so decided to crack open my latest purchase. I was going to build this one as an RAF machine from 111 Sqn but as AMSIG require one for SMW I have chosen to do this one in RN colours.

There is some remedial work to do around the air intakes, as per most Phantom kits, but apart from that it is a great fitting kit. Like a muppet that I am, I drilled/cut out the holes for the underwing stores, however I want this to be a clean unarmed aircraft so will have to fill the holes again :redface

The only times I remember to drill them out is when I don't want them. :rolf

Been there, done that and that is why I keep various diameter rods around. Damned annoying though.
