well for those of us who watch planes in the sky, ive just stumbled on the Maritime equivalent https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-0.5/centery:50.6/zoom:7 you can track ships and using the search function ive followed HMS Queen Elizabeth to Malta |

been using that for years since i move up t'north and the apartment overlook the north sea and the entrance to the harbour/yacht club.....used to plot all sorts of things coming and going |
