An excellent model!
It looks just as sad and lonely as the real thing.

Looks good 👍

Does make me wonder, as the seat is still in place, if it's still armed? If not why take it out and put it back in

An ignominious end to a really great looking Harrier. No to mention all the other aircraft in the same area. To quote Indian Jones, "it belongs in a museum!!!" (restored.) Great idea for a Dio. Have an old Matchbox F-4 I plan to do in similar shape. Cheers FTOSOTP!!!

On the training area at Manston, any aircraft with an ejection seat in has had them disarmed. The reason the seats are put back in is that the airframes are used for lift-out training. A 15 stone dummy is occasionally put in the jets for the baby firefighters to practice techniques with ladders and ropes, to lift out incapacitated crew.

The poor thing needs some TLC. I have to chime in with everbody else: The model is outstanding!

(I thought I'd mention it before someone else does: The original has a letter "N" near the tip of the tail fin...)

Thanks for the comments all.

Yep, lots of markings missing, hence the description noting it`s based on Manston Harrier but I will add them in the coming year before the `Fest`.
