This time last year as I was starting my `partial ejection` A-6 build, I took the precaution of getting a back up kit in case something went wrong with all the cutting that was needed. As it turned out, I didn`t need it. So it`s left me with a rather large A-6 kit box sitting on top of the stash cupboard as it can`t fit in it. It`s now time to correct that eye sore, as the missus likes to call it.

The forementioned `eye sore`......

Now if I`m honest, I have no intention of keeping this model when it`s built. So it will be placed on eBay shortly after completion to fund further 74 or VF-111 purchases.

I`m also not going to reveal the scheme I`ve choosen either to add a bit of shock/horror/surprise for you all. All I will say is that if I want this to appeal to potential buyers, it`s not going to be an `out there` scheme. So as usual with most of my what if builds, it`s going to look like it has some credability when done....., I hope.

Just pre painted some of the internal bits tonight. Hope to get the cockpit completed by tomorrow.

Cockpit took a little longer than planned and the fact that I went for adding aircrew late in the day didn`t help matters either. However as of tonight, the cockpit and crew are complete and the fuselage is now sealed. The rest of the build should be straight forward....., (last fatal words....)

Pretty much my final WIP update before the Intruder `wears it`s new clothes`.

I did however make my mind up on the weapons fit. :wicked

Good god, this is taking forever and a day to get finished so for those interested, to put you out of your misery, here she is with her `clothes on` via bad iPhone picture.

A 12 Sqn A-6 Intruder in the anti-ship role. No complicated back story for this one, just replace any historical reference to the Buccaneer, with Intruder.

Still plenty to be done on the model, u/c, weapons, pitot`s, but it`s slowly getting there.
