No, you haven't missed the PR.5, It's just taking a lot of FSr (fill, sand, repeat), so I started the next one. The last of the line of operational BAC Eagles, the GR.6

I won't bore you with a step by step, just what makes it different....

Starting with the cockpit. Fitted with MFDs front and rear (lifted from an Eduard F-15E PE set)

Apart from the MFDs, enhanced EW suite, LRMTS (Not off a Tornado!!) refueling probe. Everyting open and fully armed. Probably all grey....

Yes, I had originally thought about doing it wrap-around, but then I slipped in the GR.3 (to be built), so it seemed more logical to do this one as the last of the breed in the same colours that Tornado GR.4s are.


By the way, am i right in saying that they are medium sea grey all over or is it something else? :redface

update

F3 - upper barley grey also known as camo grey - under light grey - radome med grey, in 2000 they were all repainted in msg and a slightly darker radome

GR4 mid 2000 - uppers DSG lower dark camo grey, 2007 overall msg, dsg radomes but there are still lots of variations on this

Might be a good match for what you want?

I tend to only use rattlecans for primering. And Halfords Primer is spot on MSG, lol Also Vallejo primer is supposedly Dark Camo Grey.....
