I made a start of this kit this week. There's nothing particularly exciting about it. The fit is poor and will need a bit of work. I plan to mount it on a stand in flight.

Looks very reminiscent to me of the old Aurora kits, same diarrhea colour plastic and instruction sheet style

Think you might struggle with those decals Steve.

Noticed the red in one eye seems missing and the star n bar look very old but I`ll be looking forward to the next update.

Lovely old Monogram kit.
TBH, I've not had dealings with them in 1/72, sticking to 1/48, but always found them surprisingly good on the whole. That being said, those decals are definately off...the star is too small and I'd say the "bulge" along the bottom of the fuselage is possibly too big, if you want to count rivets....
