I have had quite a long break from actually building models - far longer than I anticipated - but I'm back, and in an increasingly desperate attempt to tip Mark over the edge by doing bizarre things to his beloved Hawk, I open this thread to follow on from;

HawkWacs

and SeaHawk

This build will be based on the Airfix 1/72 offering and photos are to follow. The first step will be to modify the canopy for my two-crew, single pilot civilian machine.

Details soon...

The sub-assemblies have been started

The canopy has been cut into two sections and the next work will be painting the cockpits and working on the stores.

The build should be very basic overall and not take too long. The end (in-flight) result will be mounted on an Airfix stand.
