Before spraying, today, I heated the paint bottles in some lukewarm water. It seemed to do the trick, as they sprayed lovely. Thanks for the tips guys. First of, I sprayed the nose intake red before masking it. Next the whole thing got a coat of black. ![]() This is a simple scheme I seen recently in a magazine - I think it was RV decals. I don't have the exact nose serial, but in this case close enough will be good enough. Anyway, nearly finished.

OK - After unmasking, I realised I'd made a huge booboo I forgot to paint the instrument coaming and rear cockpit deck They should also have been black, but now stick out like a sore thumb.I'd look over it if this was the first time I'd done this, but its about the third or fourth time in recent years. ![]() The canopy is well secured, so I'll just have to live with it. Next is a bit of detail painting on the landing gear, guns etc. Then a coat of Klear and some decals. Far from my best work but it done its job in getting the mojo flowing. Further pics in the Gallery. Thanks for looking in.
