went to pick them up and he asked if i was interested in some other kits he had (silly question)
turns out he is a skip driver for a recycling company...........he had returned to the centre and was dunping a load.....there was @150 kits!! so him and two other guys shared them and hes selling his on ebay
my guess is a modeller died and his widow has just binned his stash!
he had a bin bag that he hadnt even looked in!..........3x Airfix 1/48 Spitfires, 4x P38 Lightnings in 1/48 by various manufacturers!
i am interested in a few more cars and one of the P38's......might make him an offer if i can afford to spend more this month......supposed to not be buying kits this year

im trying to remember.....one was in PRU blue, the other camo, might have been the mk xii............the P38...1 was italerai, 2 were Revell, 1 i cant remember

i wasnt paying too much attention............i was looking at the Otaki 1/12 Mercedes 450 :laugh:
