Normally I have to hide my purchases, but this weekend we popped into a model shop in York and as I was perusing the stock, she asked if I saw anything. Trumpeter Whirlwind (£30)
The new Trumpeter Whirlwind is on my list to get and also their Dragonfly.

That dragonfly is on my list

My 2 academy F-4D ROKAF's turned up today shame they are still in that bloody coloured styrene but hey ho.

Ive found some stonking Lakenheath decals for them so for me its a no brainer

Just waiting for the 2 tonkas and thats my cash spent from my 'clear out' of un wanted kits.

I`ve just bought..., :bang:

1/48 F-111
1/48 F-5
1/48 Hunter
1/48 Hunter T.7 Conversion set
paints, sprays, brushes, glues

... and I`m hoping to add a 1/48 Jaguar by the end of the day.

I hope SWMBO is in a good mood. :dead
Errrrrrr, you still tell the wife?!

I'm afraid that mine will just chop my manhood off at the mention of buying another kit, so it's: open the back of the car;grab kits; in the house; loft ladders down; kits in loft; ladders back up; down stairs; and, close boot, lock car.

My personal indoor best is 2 mins 5 secs.
Word of advice, after you have sneakily stashed your new toys, don't leave the receipt lying around! :dead

Saw this in a recent model magazine,

as I’m a bit tired of sanding back filler on small areas I thought I’d give it a try. Hope it works as advertised.

Keep us informed on how that goes. I've been using the Vallejo one which is good but the bottle tends to get a bit gummed up.

Ive been using this and vallejo for ages,

The perfect putty is good because its water based and you can smooth it down like you do silicon sealant with a wet finger (oooooh matron)
