My Revell re boxing of the 1/48 hasegawa A-7E came yesterday from evilbay. I still can't believe I got it for so little, all I can think is other people didnt do there research as thats how I found it was an ex hasegawa. |

My F-4E(S) Phantom bits have arrived from Eagle Designs in Italy, now awaiting the F-4J from China for the correct wings and I should be good to go for the Phantom GB. |

Talking of F-4's Derek, one of mine has arrived from Japan. My RF-4E for my Hellenic project has just graced my door. Ive got no end of Hasegawa F-4's but for some reason I never noticed how nice they really are. Once you get over the bitchers moaning about the lack of intakes they really are cracking kits. Ive sorted the intakes out by buying some FOD covers.......simples |

I have resin inserts for mine. Just realised that I can use the F-4E slatted wings for the J to make a S. Edited by Olde Farte, Aug 12 2014, 10:24 AM.

The Hasegawa range seems to fall into two categories, some (the RAF FGRs and G) have nicely engraved panel lines, the others have raised surface detail. Just ordered an Italeri Stirling. Si. |

I've put in a request to those kind ladies at Lucky to hold a kit for me until Monday, just been to the dentist and I don't know about taking teeth but they did take an arm and a leg.

Recent purchases/deliveries are: Airfix 1:24 Sea Harrier FRS1 ![]() Airfix 1:350 HMS Illustrious ![]() Airfix First and Last Harrier set ![]() The Harrier and Illustrious were around half price from Wonderland models. I made the GR1 Harrier back in around 1975, it’s the same kit with additional parts. Namely a new forward section, cockpit and canopy which requires you to cut off the front fuselage of the GR1, the GR3 sprues as you need the different fin with the RWR’s. still a kit of the time and quite a few parts loose in the bag. The Illustrious is a kit I’ve wanted for quite a while, particularly since visiting it in Liverpool last year. The Harrier first and last was reduced in Hannants and look exceptional value. |

You do know that Shar won't fit on the Lusty, don't you? Been tempted to do another 1/24 Harrier, seeing as Wonderland are selling them dirt cheap atm That twin pack Harrier set is in my LMS. Thought about getting it but I have both kits in the stash already. |

My Final RF-4B has arrived from Japan Now all I need to do is google the differences between the C which the parts are apparently in the box for. DEREK.........I need your knowledge I know the nose gear doors are different but there are 2 types in the box as well as camera glazing. The rear cockpit is also different but I have a set of Eduard C cockpit bits for that. |
