Here you go mate. I have to say I like the look of this kit, good size, good detail out of the box, loads of schemes out there. A lot of people are asking for the F.8, apparently HK are not going to produce one, but you never know.

My kit did include a 1/144 meteor kit, but I purchased it from an internet auction site and came minus the small meatbox (as per listing) and included an Xtradecal sheet X32051 Gloster Meteor F.4 Pt.1. (Don't tell Tony, but it includes a 74 Sqdn machine VT322 '4D-J)

Parts are moulded in light grey plastic and are spread over 4 main sprue's. A clear sprue contains 6 parts including the 3 piece canopy pieces as well as wing tip and tail navigation lights all sealed in a separate bag. All of the parts are flash free and covered in flush rivets and recessed panel lines that will look great under a coat of paint. The engine access panels are moulded separately, but no engines are included !! All control surfaces are separate including trim tabs. Speed brakes can be modelled open or closed as can the flaps, the flaps inner surfaces do suffer from the ejector pin marks.

The instruction booklet has 16 construction stages with parts layout, a 3 view drawing and 2 decal placement guides. Painting guide gives Hobby colour, Tamiya and FS595C colours. The construction stages are drawn faintly but are adequate. Decals included are for 600 Squadron RAF and a colourful Argentinian machine.

There is talk on the interweb that the wheels are incorrect for the Mk.4, but these are well moulded and come weighted.

According to the blurb on the box the kit has 101 parts, nose weight included, model dimensions - wingspan: 355mm, length: 394mm.

Don't think those rivets should be across that oval panel !!

On Target Special for Operation Telic which has been like hens teeth to find. I have been hunting for this book through all the usual sources and have finally managed to get one from Amazon even though it has cost me £30.

My other goodies turned up today

All from Emodels, my new go to shop as I refuse to use Hannants now!!!

Not sure if the F-106 is £10 more of a kit than the Mig-23 but compared to the old revell/monogram kit it is head and shoulders ahead (but the monogram kit is still a good'n)

I decided to treat myself to a couple of kits at the weekend and the first one turned up just now. And I can't wait to get this together and start the weathering.

There is something else to go with it which I will show you when it arrives.

However, as I was purchasing something else fell in my basket that I had been drooling over ever since I saw CAD pictures of it on FaceBook.

:redface ooh mama.
