as they say 'just because you can't moan doesn't meen you won't' I don't hear people moan when a 'does anyone have..........' thread apperas and my reply is 'I will just check my stash and 90% of the time I can help out. Especially with Russian weaponry (all be it a tad later dispatch time than expected )

Sad thing is Im actually quite a happy, positive person but after listening to all the moaners at work it rubs off a bit. Always makes me laugh that they moan like buggery but yet due to the well paid job they can afford nice cars and holidays. But I digress

Builder of aircraft, any scale from 1:1 to 1:144!
|
Busy weekend of additions to ze stash. Friday saw a 1/48 Hunter T.8 conversion set arrive, Saturday I had a trip to Doncaster to pick up my Sword Lightning T.4. I have to say, having now seen the kit in the plastic (and resin and PE!) I am ALL the impressed. I also gathered some 'spotty Jag' decals, and BOAC Stratocruiser decals for converting my stashed 1/72 C-97. While I was there I was donated another box of spare parts from a friend who is moving scales from 1/72 to 1/48. As well as the expected parts, there was a Revell Sea King, Eurocopter Tiger, Lynx, Hawk 200 (shame on me! ), Gripen, Harrier GR3, and 1/144 B-17 in the box. Cheers Dave! He also brought back my flame trap cowls for the 1/48 Lanc, so work on that beast can re-commence.Sunday saw a visit by another friend, and some more trading done. As a result some 'never builds' left the stash, and a Frog Vampire FB5, Heller Javelin, Hellcat and Aurora Starlifter were inducted into the stash. Oh, and there is a 1/48 Lightning on it way for me, and a 1/48 Lightning and a 1/32 Spitfire 22 in as commission builds. Should see me over winter!

Two more E-bay purchases. 1/48 Monogram F-105F 1/48 Grumman Tigercat Both with no decals and the Tigercat has no instructions. They came as a 2 in one package and I was after the Thud for a whif, so decals aren't a problem. Will have to think of something to do with the 'cat Honestly, these are the last

If raised panel lines don't bother you then that F-105 is actually a nice kit. It was that which got me back into building kits 9 years ago after I had to sell my previous stash. |

I plan to rescribe them, but no, normally they don't bother me as Monogram tend to do them quite well. I am planning to open up the bomb bay on mine. |
