It is very wobbly on it's undercart so suggest replace with a metal one or strengthen the original with a pin or metal rod through the main legs. I built this too many years ago to remember and have to agree it is a very nice kit.

I am suffering severe withdrawal problems with not being able to purchase anything model wise, especially kits this year now but am getting very, very tempted with what's out there. Come Jan 1 then watch the credit card. :party

Don't tell Judy but I have just reserved the 1/48th Airfix Gnat and Trumpeter 1/48th F-106A at Relish, makes me feel much better now.

Your secret is safe, with only the whole world-wide internet community able to access it.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Gnat!

I haven't bought anything for quite a while, for two reasons:
1 - I haven't been building anything lately.
2 - I wanted to clear some of the builds from the shelf of doom.

But while trawling ebay today I came across a Tamiya 1/35 US M8 Howitzer motor carriage for £6.50 and £2.50 P&P.
I'd have been a fool to pass it up

Now if they could find it within themselves to issue this in the one true scale of 1/48th I would have one.

Bandai's new 1/12 scale Darth Vader kit arrived from Japan today, very nice it is too.

Also heard that Argos is doing the Hasbro Millennium Falcon at half price (£30) so called in on my way home and picked one up, needs a bit of scratch building on the sides to replace the stickers but at 2 1/2 feet long it should look good painted properly and lit up!

Cheers,

Warren
