I've built a few recently and, apart from the raised panel lines, they are imo, great kits and very advanced for their age. |

Just changing to recessed panels would be enough in my book on a lot of them. |

Sorry, that's what I meant as the kits themselves are spot on accuracy wise. |

I have finally got round to actually ordering the Airfix Gnat and Trumpeter F-106A, both 1/48th of course and were to be ordered early December but an unexpected expense cropped up so had to delay for a few weeks. I will also be ordering a 1/48th Thunderbolt , Delboy buying a Thunderbolt you ask? don't worry all will be revealed when it arrives.

A very ancient part-built HE219 from the chaps at Revell is my latest purchase. I think as the fuselage is assembled it's probably too far on for the 3rd reich GB though. |

Received my aforementioned 'Thunderbolt' on Sat, Tarangus 1/48th SAAB JA37 Viggen, there are some reviews around the web so I opened the box to see that everything was there. Sunday I received an email from Lee at Ultimate Model Supplies (UK Tarangus dealer and cheaper than Hannants) informing me that the box and instructions were for the Viggen but the plastic was possibly the Lansen, it was doh !!!!!! Great customer service and the swap is now underway and a lesson learnt, don't just look but observe. |

That's a great price. I have to say I tried one of these when they were first launched and wasn't persuaded away from my trusted Devilbiss but there are those who swear by them. Si. |

Nowt wrong with the hairy stick and easier to clean as well as being a darn sight cheaper. That is a damn good price though, has it been used though. |

Nice couple of acquisitions over the last few days. Firstly, I was brought a box of mostly 1/72 started kits yesterday. Including Airfix 109E, Mosquito, Black Widow, Skyhawk, Italeri 109F, dodgy Russian Jaguar, and 1/144 F117. To top this, my better half was down at Stoneleigh for several days last week for a trade event. She had a half day spare and had a nosey round a shopping centre nearby. In said place there was a charity shop, from whence she purchased this... ![]() I think for 4 quid that's a bargain! It's complete, with only the seats started. |

Only £4, that is a gift as the kit in this form has only been out a few weeks and costs around the £35 mark I believe. |
