In which case she definitely did good! And yes, just in case there is any doubt, she'll be done as a 74 jet TC...!

The loss of our dog was a big blow to us all a couple of weeks ago, worst of all was watching our other dog pining for him. So there seemed to be only one thing to do. It's taken a week before the little mug let me get a picture of his face but here's Bruno.

Courtesy of the Bay of Thieves, an Airfix JU88 has arrived in the stash.

Liberated on Saturday at Newark aerojumble were a Revell 1/72 Messerschmitt 109 G-10, Airfix Do17, C-47, 1/48 Avenger, and a 3/4 built Nimrod R1. It kept tempting me through the day, until finally it came down to too good a price to resist...

Went to Hemswell yesterday, which, for those of you non Lincolnites who don't know, is a large car boot market. Picked up a couple of books, one about military prototypes post war and another about Axis military aircraft.
The surprise of the day was a 1/48 Revell F-104 Starfighter. Luftwaffe, in typical commemorative colour scheme, £10.
Now, for that money I was expecting the usual Monogram version of the kit, as is given in the Tiger meet edition. But no, it appears that Revell also do a copy of Hasegawa's Starfighter, and that is what I have got. Happy days!! :cool

The 1/48 Starfighter gets my vote every time, and it's a good price!

I saw an excellent build of one yesterday at Southern Expo, but it was slightly marred by having the canopy open, but hinged to the wrong side :redface

Just got back from my local Lidl with these two kits.

Seriously impressed with both kits and decal sheets.
