Went to the WAVE on Friday and came away with a Typhoon and F22, both in 1/72 and both minus decals. Not bothered about that tho, as I have a plan for the Tiffie. Not sure what to do with the F22, but it'll definately be a Whif.....RAF is favourite, but too obvious! |

Just remember, the Matchbox kit is based on the YA-10, so is fitted with a teeny tiny 20mm Vulcan cannon, and not the humongous 30mm Avenger..... I think the canopy is slightly wrong too (too bulbous)....but don't quote me on that. It's been over (well over) 30 years since I saw this kit! |

Went to the Lincoln toyfair, & picked up a Tamiya 1/48 Mk9 Spit B), a Hobbycraft 1/48 bay of pigs Sea Fury, with a nice Almark FAA decal sheet included, a tenner each B) B), 2 PM models, a T38 Talon, in 1/72, & a Siat 223 Flamingo  , a training aircraft that looks like a larger SA Bulldog in 1/48, a fiver for the pair. B) B) B) My "mate" & I use the term loosely, pounced on a 1/48 TSR2, & Vulcan, & Nimrod, before I even spotted them

My 4 F104's, 2 F102's and B-58 all arrived at the weekend. They all need restoration to a greater or lesser degree, but a shelf of gleaming Century-series fighters beckons! :D Edit; Oh, and an FW200... |
