A few months ago I purchased a StuGIII in a German brick-and-mortar store. I wasn't happy with the decals (picture 1), so when I came across the same model on a South Korean ebay shop, I pulled the trigger again (picture 2). Can you spot the difference?

Yep, the skull decals are missing. Cut off from the sheet, and blacked out on the instructions with a marker pen. Much like swastikas. I'm aware that the SS had a "trademark" skull design, but I'm afraid this isn't it. I wonder when they start censoring pirate ships, or Jolly Roger Tomcats...

was out shopping today and happened to be opposite HobbyCraft so popped in to get some Xacto blades..........and came out with this!!!

in my defence it was only 15 quid......half price!...looks like it was an end of line jobbie

ive done a bit of googling and it seems this company stopped making stuff like this a couple of years ago

it just looked interesting on the outside......the box was sealed so i had no idea what was inside......and at the price i thought it was worth a punt....should build up to be about 10 inch long

but what have i done???? lol

the box has in it woody bits, fabric, thread, theres not just photoetch but proper brass bits!.....the instruction book is 44 pages long!!!!! eeeeek!!

half of my brain is so intrigued by it i want to clear the bench and crack on with it.......the other half is saying 'dont be silly......close the box and put it at the back of the stash.....forget about it'

A nice little package arrived from Hannants on Saturday. Unfortunately I wasn't in, so I had to pick it up from the sorting office yesterday...

Anyway, a few bits for future projects. Can you guess what?

Not a purchase, but a given. Airfix 1/24 Mossie for restoration. Despite appearances, it looks to be all there...!

That Mossie is a mess Graham. Was it used for crash testing?

Just managed to win a 1/48 Hasegawa Hurricane MkII on Ebay for £15, inc postage.
