Damien Burke's book is a fantastic read.

And I received in the post during the week. As you know I love my Bombers so this will be a useful reference.

Went to the WAVE on Friday. Several kits thereI want to get, but walked away with just the one. Got the Italeri 1/48 F/A-18A/B.

Altho based on the prototypes (not really sure of the differences), it will be a whif anyway.....

RN, circa 1982, South Atlantic.......

Not a new purchase, but one I found in the attic. An A-4 I bought in 1985 and built as an aggressor, very badly...To be stripped and rebuilt as a RN whif...

With all these RN whifs I'm doing, you'd never believe I was RAF.......

A local arts & crafts shop called Millway who have a good range but, based on what I've seen today, look like they might be trying to clear their stock.

I was going to buy the Nimrod before Christmas, fortunately they've taken another fiver off it since then. I don't know if the Transall is a good buy or not, but it was reduced down from £30 so bought it anyway.

Just bought a FUJIMI RAF F4 Phantom FGR.2 in 1/72 to replace my Matchbox 74 Sqn version on Evilbay for just under £30 inc P&P. (I got fed up with looking at the awful nose section on the Matchbox) <_<

No idea if thats a good price, but it was the cheapest out there at the moment.

I got mine cheaper, but that was a few years back. One was ordered directly from Japan, and then the second was bagged at Relish's discounted price when the kit was reissued. iirc they worked out at around £23-26

They tend to be sought after and I would imagine OOP at the mo, so overall I don't think you did too badly at all
