I remember that from the Monogram catalogue, circa 1985. And I dare say it's older than that! Still, Monogram car kits were/are very good indeed!

'er, what's it for then.
If you put a bunch of them together and attach them to a LED you can put spots of light in a model.

The intention with this lot is to produce lighting kits for the Revell Star Destroyer which wants about 250m for the lights in the trenches and other surfaces!!
