I re-visited the Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum this past weekend. They had this limited edition kit for sale in 1:72. It is sold only at the museum.

Today, w went to Birmingham, as Sarah had a lunch with one of her Facebook groups. Great excuse, methinks, to visit some of Brum's model shops.

Once I'd dropped Sarah off at New Street, I had to brave Birmingham's Saturday traffic.....not good!!!

Anyway, I picked 4 shops, Mr Model, Parabellum, Mike's Models and Ian Parker books and models.
As it turned out, time didn't allow me to get to Mike's, but I can heartily recommend the others, especially Parabellum. Floor to ceiling models!!! Some absolute crackers too.
Anyway, when I met up with Sarah again, she asked how much I had spent. My answer was, "more than I should have, but nowhere near as much as I could have!"
It really was a struggle to choose what to actually buy....but here's what I did get...

Uh oh - You're in trouble, Del. :whistle
Looked this type up. Very similar to the il-28 Beagle. Great looking kit.
