I have got Bobcat's first Yak-28P 'Firebar' fighter version but this is the PP 'Brewer' EW version. They are nice kits and suppose I'll have to build one now. Bobcat are rumoured to have the Beagle on the stocks but I honestly don't think I would have the nerve to buy one, as said before she is only tiny but does she pack a punch..............................

It certainly is! And more importantly, the hydraulic ram doesn't leak, and it doesn't squeak. The former drove me mad as I was too low at my desk. The latter drove Sarah mad, as I am directly above her, if she's in the living room! |

This dropped through my front door this morning, Told Judy it was a kit for brewing wine etc. with the secret being etc. hence the name 'Brewer'. I then turned the box over to see one model which has been a dream for me for donkeys years and told her straight out that I was going to buy only one of them. When I picked myself up from the floor I was made to promise that it would indeed be my last model, being strong and the master in my own home I just said 'yes dear' and crept upstairs. PS. this must be a first from HK just 6 days from order to delivery. 001 by Derek Reeve, on Flickr 002 by Derek Reeve, on Flickr

I'll have a go today Simon. For those not aware the box art is of the model finished in one of the decal options and not a flying example. |

Ordered a couple of decal sheets from Hannants the other day: Star Decals 1/35 African Wars (35=949) Star Decals 1/35 Indochine (35-C 1116) After I have finished my Lancaster build, I feel the need to build a French Panther in olive drab

In the latest Scale Aircraft Modelling there is an article re the Shinmeiwa and it is rumoured that India is after a few to replace their old Russian aircraft. Just ordered from Hannants 2 sets each of Master 1/48th Static discharge wicks for MiGs and Sukhois, fed up with losing the buggers. Edited by Olde Farte, Feb 1 2018, 11:36 AM.
