Thats only because you are the Airfix club member!

You are not the only one who is likely to suffer instant death if the other half see's any model sized boxes being delivered.

A guy I work with, gets me to have any kits he wants delivered to my house, hides them in the boot of his car, then waits until his wife is out, sneaks them in the house, then hides them in his loft!!! :o :lol: :lol:

Ive just picked up the new Airfix Lynx AH-7 and a hobbyboss 1/48 Rafale C for the syhart decals I just pre ordered.

I was very pleasantly suprised when I opened the lynx, if I didnt know it was the airfix one I would swear it was a hobbyboss. The instructions are a tad 'busy' but if you are used to any japanese/chinese make then this wont be a problem.

It has been mentioned about the Lynx instructions being a bit full on, but that should hold no concern for any experienced model maker. B)

Really looking forward to getting my RN version of this kit. :cool

Finally took delivery of my Revell A400m today, it is HUGE :o :gob :party

I had ordered this months ago, from a source outside of the forum, but he had to wait for the Revell rep to visit before he could order it. As I was prepared to wait, I did get a good deal on it.

But it was worth the wait...

Just got to find some RAF decals for it now. :cool

I did one of these years and years ago. Mine was the Matchbox one, I forget what scale. I used to do quite a few motorbikes. My pride and joy being a 1/6th BMW R75

Another trip to the Lincoln showground today, for one of the toy & collectors fairs. There are usually a smattering of kits to be had, & today I walked away with the following;

Argos issue Revell 1/32 Hawk, 12 quid.
Testors 1/48th Cessna O2A Skymaster, the "push me pull you" twin engine jobbie. 10 quid
Monogram 1/48th Mil MI 24 Hind gunship, the box is cream crackered, but the kit parts are still sealed up. 10 quid.

Another good day out... :)
