Just bought the Airfix Dambusters diorama set for under £22 P+P included on ebay. Paints, brushes and glue were not included, (which isn`t an issue for me), and I think a bit of a steal for that price.

I got the Revell Dambuster for Xmas. Apparently the rear of the bomb bay is wrong on both, but slightly more accurate on the Airfix one.

Blew my "model buying embargo" slightly last night. At Lincoln model club it seemed to be "stash clearout" night. I picked up a nice looking Me109G-6 for a fiver. Made by some company called Um. yes, that's their name!! Obviously a copy of someone elses, but looks ok to me.

That'll be the reason I don't make resolutions like that. There's always something I get tempted by...but Um? Really?? :D

It wasn't a resolution...it was an order, lol. Well, more of a request from my other half, to empty my stash a bit.

The F and G's are not really my favourite looking, but the camo looked like it would be interesting.

And, yes...Um....maybe they couldn't think of a company name? :rolf

I'm going to do a WIP for it, and I'll put sprue shots up.
On the whole tho, not bad. A bit of flash and the canopies could do with a dip in whatever solution takes your fancy. All parts for all variants are included too, which is nice.
