Ive just had a bit of a buying session but no kits this time.

I have now ordered the SAC metal undercarriage for the Zwilling as with all this resin it will definitely need it.

I also bought some really tasty E-2 decalsThese

Some F-4B decals for the academy kit as I guessed quite a few people will do the box ones (which are nice) These ones I will now do one of my F/A-18's with the dimond back decals from the revel kit as it will look nice with this.

I also picked up some FOD gaurds for the Mig-29's Ive got/ordered :D

As much as I love spending cash with local shops, I cant turn down a bargain from abroad.

Blimey Shaun you got enough Fulcrums there?

I must be dead unlucky as I'm STILL waiting for the Trumpy Vampire from Graham (10 weeks now) and the Kittyhawk RAF jag is out of stock at Lucky until the weekend so £100 spent (inc P & P) and nothing to show for it. Oh buggeration........ :dead

I think thats 6 academy Mig-29's now Derek. Ive got some cracking decals I just didnt want to waist. Also one of the GW ones as well so Im doing well.

The GW one is probably the best kit but at £40+ a throw even Im not game for that. Even with a resin tub and exhausts the Academy one is still less than the GW.

A visit to the Toyfair at the Lincoln showground last sunday added an Italeri 48 Mirage 2000D, & a Kinetic 48 Greyhound to the stash.

My work colleague picked up an Eduard 48 Su22 special edition, which apparently is as rare as hens teeth, coated in rocking horse doo daa... Next time, I will have be quicker than him... :dead

I think it would be nice to do this for her.

she was someone i 'met' via a forum, she never ceased to make me laugh.......kept in touch via facebook when that came along

she was only in her mid 20s when she succumbed to a nasty hereditry desease

she was one of those people that never let her condition dictate what she could do

she used to comment when i used to post pics of what i built and once asked if i had ever done a modern Mustang cos she had one, i said if i could get one id build her one.....this kit had only just come out and i couldnt afford one (was on the dole back then) and she passed before i managed to get one. back then i made myself promise that one day id still do it and post it on her facebook page which is still active

i plan on doing this quite soon, certainly this year, maybe in the next month or so

Got a very useful sprue holder today. Perfect for holding all those sprues when you're painting loads of bits before assembly.

For some reason Asda call it a toast rack but I guess they haven't got a clue as to it's true use.
