Just called into the air museum at Doncaster on the way back from Charlotte's basketball match, which her team won!

All I wanted was some Tamiya masking tape but much to the wrath of SWMBO, I walked out with one of the Brengun Early Production Typhoons that I've been looking at on EBay. I thought it was good as I saved the postage, Julie not so impressed!

Will post some pics up soon.

Cheers,

Warren

For the first time in ages I've found kits in a charity shop! Both 1/72, A boxed and bagged Airfix RNLI lifeboat for 7.99 and a shiny new Airfix Spit VB for 2.50.

Today I've bought a Revell 1/144 Tornado, a Revell 1/144 CH-53G and a pot of Humbrol 166 Light Aircraft Grey for my Hawk undercarriage.

It is actually impossible to step in to Steve Hague's Emporium and leave without buying kits!
A couple of ebay Airfix 1/72 wins on their way to me for restoration, an ME110 for which a desert scheme beckons, and a DH Heron which is facing one of 2 fates. Either it will be razor sawed into a model of our DH Devon, or it'll be rebuilt as a Royal Navy Heron 'Admiral's Barge'. We'll see...

Wingman 1/48th Kfir C.2/7/10/12 (Latino Kfirs) arrived today, Kinetic plastic, Cartograf decals for Ecuador and Colombia which are to a high standard. The Isracast resin package is quite substantial, highly detailed and there is a small PE fret by Master along with brass pitots, 2 types, also from Master.

So Chinese plastic and metal, Israeli resin, Italian decals and the whole lot packaged in Germany so very cosmopolitan.

Went into the "Books 4 Less" store in the Waterside in Lincoln and managed to get a copy of the Aviation guide Fairey Battle for £2.99

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAM-PUBLICATIONS...7#ht_434wt_1065

Lots of useful pics, colour schemes and, most useful, 3 view 1/72 plans.....

...so today I'm going to go look for another Airfix Battle to carry out all the corections to....
