Figured I see what all the fuss about Spitfires was about: Got these two today in my LMS. ![]() Don't really understand Airfix logic to charge £5.99 for the new tool Mk1 and £7.99 for the 1974 tooled Mk5. I know the Mk5 is a series 2( or 3) and you get two decal options. But is that second decal option really worth £2? Anyway, I haven't built a 1/72 Spitfire in about 30 years. So this should go some way to putting that to rights.

I'd like to see it out in the arena, sadly each time I've been down there it's broken. |

Builder of aircraft, any scale from 1:1 to 1:144!

Ben I'll have a borrow of that book if I may...? Got a Matchbox JU188 and a Veeday Models DH.89 Rapide inbound. Both are unstarted kits, surprisingly given my recent penchant for restoring old builds... |

He tried to palm the Hudson off onto me! I evaded neatly. Got an Academy 1/48 Hunter on it's way, and also acquired this free, gratis and for nothing: ![]() An unspectacular old print of a Lightning you might think. And you'd be right, apart from the fact that it's a limited edition print signed by the artist, as well as Jimmy Dell and Roly Beamont :) |
