T-45 Goshawk thread has been posted in the Walkaround section. Lots of landing gear, cockpit and general walkaround pics include. Please take a look.

I hope someone finds them useful!

As far as the upcoming 1/48th kit, you won't have to save too much.  I haven't heard a price yet, but I would expect it to be priced in the $30 to $40 range.  I've been helping the manuafacturer with references over the past 6 months or so.  That's all I can say... for now...  :)

Hi Gabe,

Any inside news on the 1/48 T-45 we talked about a few months ago? I appreciate that kit releases are nearly as unreliable as weather reports but I really want a quarter scale Goshawk!

Hello Gents,

Sorry I've been a bit scarce around here lately. Life has been VERY busy the past several months. Hopefully, it will slow down sometime between now and Christmas.

As far as the 1/48th T-45 goes, Kinetic have evidently officially announced it. Unfortunately, I have not heard from them in several months since the last time I sent them some reference photos and such. They told me they would share CAD drawings before they started cutting the molds, but I haven't seen anything yet. I sure hope they don't go to press without seeking out some QA from those of us who know the airplane best. I will definitely post more when I know more.

Hope all is well with you guys!

Cheers,
Gabe

Great to hear from you again Gabe. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Kinetic would do well to check with you and others in the know on this one. Props to them for taking this project on but I really hope they do it justice. I can't see too many other 1/48 T-45 kits likely after this one.

I only have one problem now. You have given us so many great reference pics that it'd be a shame not to detail a model to within an inch of its life!

Now, how do I reinforce a 1/48 tailhook so I can model my first T-45 with the third wire snagged and everything hanging down...

Phil
