I saw the new TSR2 for sale in a model shop in Chester on Sunday, didn't realise it was already released.
Just thought I'd let you all know

Is that the airfix Japanese 72nd scale one?
If it is it comes with all the original bits in order to make a real TSR.2 :cool

I assume we're all talking about this one:

I was thinking of getting it, but I've read some mixed reviews - and £25 seems a bit steep for a 1/72 kit.

The last one I sold before the reboxing went for £35 and I have seen them go for a lot more than that.
I have never realy been bothered about the 72nd I will get the 48th, better and cheaper :D

That's the one Plastic Fiddler.

Not made it yet but I have the 1:48 scale on top of my wardrobe, and also the 1:72 scale on order through B&H in Lincoln.

I do wonder though if Airfix had a 'hand' in this cartoon as an excuse to get the 1:72 kit out again?

As its the same kit as the last 72nd release just with a few different bits and a different decal sheet it will be the same. You can do a real one as it comes with the original parts and decals.

So as Ben says, the original kit was going for £30+ this isnt bad for the price.
