Something a little bit different from me for the next build

Posted Image

Going to add some aftermarket stowage and maybe put it in a simple diorama.

See the sandbags? Way out of scale or what?

Posted Image

Posted Image

And started work on some of the interior stowage, ammo anyone?

Posted Image

Got the road wheels done

Posted Image

And painted up a lot of the stowage and placed it inside to get an idea of where it's all going to go.

Next I fitted the rear hatch/ramp and started test fitting the upper armour.

Posted Image

Posted Image

I then test fitted everything again

Posted Image

If I have the small engine hatch open this is how much can seen seen

Posted Image

If I decide to have the full hatch open the whole engine can be seen.

and the roof on with all the hatches and things in place

and all the hatches work

I released what I thought to be molded detail was in fact, quite deep ejector pin marks

Posted Image

So on with the OD

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Got all the hatches back on and started on the tracks.

Posted Image

Couldn't resist doing a little mock up of how she is gonna look

Still on the tracks Zzzzzzzzzz

Well the vehicle is just about done, bar the weathering. Will be moving onto the figures next.

And I put it on the base I'm planning for it and a bit of stowage to see what it's all gonna look like.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Started tidying up the Anti RPG netting and painting the driver

Posted Image

Posted Image

Still needs some work

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

I'm not happy with the poles on the netting yet, gonna change them.

Right she's coming together now:

And a little bit of Mish zaniness

Posted Image

Next I need to start on the base.

Worked on the two remaining figures this afternoon.

Right this what has been keeping my busy yesterday and today. Getting the base just so...

And then everything in place:

I'll take the final photos at the weekend after I've given everything a flat coat.

Thanks guys, I have some little bits to do to it; tidy up the edge of the base, drill out the barrel of the .50 cal, matt coat it.

Then I can take the studio photos of it and hopefully enter it in the competition at Southern Expo at the end of the month.

Took some more photos today, still not happy with the overall look so I'm gonna think about what else I can do to it.
